Alright, guys, so I’ve been grinding away at Ghost of Tsushima lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I decided I wanted that shiny “Helping Sword Hand” trophy, you know, the one you get for completing all the Tales of Tsushima. Sounded simple enough, right? Wrong!
Started off, I was just cruising through the main story, enjoying the scenery, and slicing up Mongols. I’d stumble upon these little side quests, the Tales of Tsushima, marked with a white icon, figured I’d do them as I went along. No big deal. I’d help a villager here, rescue a hostage there, the usual stuff. They weren’t too tough, and it felt good to be a hero, even if it was a digital one.

Then, I started to realize there are a TON of these things. I mean, we’re talking 61 Tales of Tsushima and 7 Mythic Tales. I started actively looking for them, combing through every nook and cranny of the map. I even started jotting them down, marking them off as I completed them.
I got to a point where I thought I was done, I really did. But that trophy just wouldn’t pop. Frustrating, to say the least. I started scouring the internet, looking for answers. Turns out, there are a couple of these tales that are kinda hidden, they don’t just show up on the map like the others. Sneaky, right?
So, I had to do some extra digging. I talked to every villager I could find, explored every inch of the map again, even the parts I thought I’d already cleared. It felt like a real treasure hunt, except the treasure was a digital trophy, but hey, a trophy’s a trophy.
Finally, after what felt like forever, I found the last couple of hidden tales. Finished them up, and BAM! That “Helping Sword Hand” trophy finally popped up on my screen. It was a glorious moment, I gotta say. A real feeling of accomplishment.
My main takeaways from this whole ordeal:
- Check every corner of the map, even if you think you’ve been there.
- Talk to villagers – they often give hints or start these hidden tales.
- Don’t give up, even when it feels like you’ve done them all – there might be a sneaky one hiding somewhere.
So yeah, that’s my story of getting the “Helping Sword Hand” trophy in Ghost of Tsushima. It was a grind, but totally worth it in the end. If you’re going for it, I hope my experience helps you out. Good luck, and happy gaming!
