Alright, so I was trying to get my Piloswine to evolve into Mamoswine in Pixelmon, and I hit a bit of a roadblock. You see, Piloswine needs to know the move “Ancient Power” to evolve, and mine just wouldn’t learn it on its own. I was scratching my head for a while, trying to figure out what to do.
First, I made sure I had a Piloswine. You know, it evolves from Swinub at level 33. I leveled up my Swinub until it became a Piloswine, which was a good start.
Then, I did some digging around on the internet. Turns out, there are a couple of ways to get Ancient Power onto Piloswine. One way is through breeding, but honestly, that seemed like a lot of work. I just wanted a simpler method.
So, I kept searching and found out that there’s this thing called a Move Reminder. It’s an NPC that you can find in any Pokemon Center, usually hanging out on the left side. This person is a lifesaver because they can help your Pokemon remember moves they’ve forgotten or could have learned at earlier levels.
I took my Piloswine to the nearest Pokemon Center and found the Move Reminder. I talked to them and asked them to help my Piloswine remember a move. When they asked which move, I scrolled through the list and there it was: “Ancient Power”.
- Go to a Pokemon Center – any will do.
- Find the Move Reminder – usually on the left side.
- Ask to remember a move.
- Select Piloswine.
- Choose Ancient Power from the list of moves.
I picked that, and then the Move Reminder asked me to replace one of my Piloswine’s existing moves with Ancient Power. I just picked a move I didn’t really need and boom, my Piloswine finally knew Ancient Power!
I also heard about something called a Move Tutor. Apparently, there’s one in the Onyx Ward and another at Agate Circus. These guys can teach your Pokemon moves for a fee. I didn’t try this route since I found the Move Reminder, but it’s good to know it’s an option.
The Final Step
With Ancient Power in its moveset, all I had to do was level up my Piloswine one more time. I battled a few wild Pokemon, gained some experience, and ding! My Piloswine evolved into a big, শক্তিশালী Mamoswine! It was a bit of a journey, but totally worth it in the end.
