Okay, guys, so today I decided to dive into the world of FIFA and try my luck with a Mega Pack. I’ve heard mixed things about these packs, so I was pretty curious to see what all the fuss was about. This was my first time opening one, and I was kinda excited, I’m not gonna lie.
First off, I logged into the game and headed straight to the store. I found the Mega Pack, and let me tell you, it’s not cheap. But, I figured, “Why not?” and bought it. After buying I saw there is a mix of 30 items. That’s a lot of stuff, but I noticed they weren’t all players.

Opening the Pack
With the pack purchased, it was time to see what I got. I took a deep breath and opened it up. The screen lit up with all these cards, and I started flipping through them.
I noticed right away that 18 of the 30 items were “rare,” whatever that means. Also, everything was gold. There were players, consumables, and some other things I didn’t even recognize.
What I Got
- Players: I ended up with about 10 player cards. Nothing too crazy, but a few were rated 82 or higher, which was cool.
- Consumables: There were a bunch of these. I saw some rare squad fitness cards, rare contracts, and rare all-injury cards. I guess these could be useful.
- Other Stuff: Honestly, I’m not sure what all of this was. Some stadium items and staff, maybe? I’ll have to look into it later.
Figuring Out the Odds
After the excitement died down a little, I started wondering about the odds of getting good stuff in these packs. I did some digging online and found out that each pack has different odds for different types of cards. It’s all kinda like a lottery, I guess.
Apparently, EA does some simulations to calculate the probabilities of getting certain items. They open a ton of packs virtually to figure this stuff out. It’s all pretty complicated, but it seems like they try to make it fair.
Was it Worth It?
So, the big question: was the Mega Pack worth the coins? Honestly, I’m not sure. I got a few decent players, and those rare consumables might come in handy. But it felt a little underwhelming, to be honest. I was hoping for something more, you know?
I saw online that the odds of getting really good cards, like Team of the Year players, are pretty low. It seems like it’s all about luck. Some people get amazing stuff, and others don’t. I guess I was somewhere in the middle.
At the end of the day, it was a fun experience. I got to open a bunch of cards and add some new players to my squad. Would I do it again? Maybe. It’s a bit of a gamble, but that’s part of the fun, right? We’ll see what happens next time I feel like testing my luck!
Oh, and one more thing. I heard that those rare consumables can be sold for a decent amount. So, even if I didn’t get any superstar players, I might still make some coins back. That’s something, at least.
Alright, that’s it for my Mega Pack adventure. Let me know if you guys have had any luck with these packs. I’m curious to hear your stories!
