Okay, so I wanted to figure out the best moveset for Gallade. I mean, this Pokmon’s got potential, right? So, I started digging into it, experimenting with different moves to see what works best. This is how it went.
First, I tried out Confusion and Psychic. Seemed like a solid start, and the numbers backed it up. We’re talking 14.82 DPS and 235.3 TDO. Not too shabby, eh? But I wasn’t going to stop there. I wanted to see if I could push Gallade even further.

Then, I started messing around with Swords Dance. The idea was to boost Gallade’s Attack stat quickly. I paired it with Zen Headbutt because, you know, it’s a stronger STAB move. For the last slot, I went back and forth between Night Slash and Ice Punch. Both have their perks, covering different types. It really comes down to what you’re up against.
I also wanted to know Gallade’s weaknesses, just to be prepared. Turns out, it’s not a big fan of Flying, Ghost, and Fairy types. Makes sense. But here’s a cool thing: it resists Fighting and Rock, and even takes normal damage from Psychic types. That’s a nice little advantage, especially when you consider other Fighting types.
When it comes to countering Gallade, I found some beasts that do the job pretty well. I’m talking about Mega Rayquaza, Shadow Rayquaza, Necrozma – Dawn Wings, Mega Gengar, Rayquaza, and Shadow Salamence. These guys can really put a dent in Gallade’s defenses.
- I even experimented with a Choice Scarf. The goal? To make Gallade faster than most Pokmon out there. I even tested it against a Speed EV trained Dragapult. Surprise, surprise, it worked! It’s a neat trick to have up your sleeve, especially when your opponent isn’t expecting it.
- Then there’s the whole Fast Attack thing. Gallade’s got four options: Low Kick, Psycho Cut, Confusion, and Charm. I mostly stuck with Low Kick and Psycho Cut, but it’s good to know you’ve got options depending on what you need.
- Finally, for PvP battles, I found that Leaf Blade is a killer move on Gallade. It’s super effective! And for raids, Synchronoise really helps Gallade shine as a Psychic attacker.
So, there you have it. That’s my journey to finding the best moveset for Gallade. It’s been a ride, but totally worth it. This Pokmon’s a beast if you set it up right!
