Yeah, you heard that right, but it’s not about hair, haha. It’s about the game League of Legends and the ranked season splits. I’ve been grinding hard this season, and I wanted to share my experience with y’all, especially about how this whole split thing works.
So, picture this: I’m deep into the ranked season, right? Trying to climb that ladder, get those sweet rewards. But I noticed this season was different. Instead of one long, painful grind, Riot Games chopped the season into three pieces, three splits. At first, I was like, “What’s the deal with these splits?” But it turns out, it’s pretty cool.
I started digging around, trying to figure out how to make the most of these splits. It’s actually simple. You play ranked games, and you earn these things called “Split Points.” Every win nets you 10 points, and even if you lose, you still get 6. So, I’m playing my heart out, winning some, losing some, but always earning those points.
Here’s where it gets interesting. Each split is like a mini-season within the big season. I found out that with each split, there are rewards. Not just any rewards, but some pretty cool stuff, I don’t want to ruin the surprise. The more I played, the more I progressed through this “split reward track.” It felt like I was constantly unlocking stuff, which kept me motivated. I was so hyped that I kept grinding, even on those days when I was getting owned.
And you know what? It wasn’t just about the rewards. Breaking the season into splits made the whole thing less overwhelming. I had these smaller goals to work towards within each split, and it felt like a fresh start every few months. Plus, I noticed a lot of people coming back to the game or starting for the first time with each new split. It’s like Riot Games found a way to keep things exciting throughout the year.

- Next: Focused on winning, but didn’t stress too much about losses since I was getting points anyway.

By the way, I heard that this second split of 2024 will end on January 7, 2025. Can you believe it? Time flies when you’re having fun, right? And get this, to get those special Victorious skins, you just gotta play ranked, get those Split Points, and make sure you’re at least Honor Level 2. It’s that easy.
My Adventure Summary
In a nutshell, this whole split thing has been a game-changer for me. It’s made the ranked grind more enjoyable and rewarding. I’ve been having a blast earning those rewards, meeting new players, and just enjoying the game in a whole new way. And you know what the best part is?
