Okay, so, I’ve been grinding hard on League of Legends lately, especially with this whole Split 2 thing going on. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you.
I started the split pretty strong, climbing up the ranks like a madman. I was feeling good, winning most of my games, and just generally having a blast. But then, as it always happens, I hit a bit of a rough patch. You know how it is, those losing streaks that just seem to come out of nowhere.

I kept my eye on the calendar, specifically on September 24, 2024. Mark my words, that’s when this whole Split 2 business is gonna wrap up. The official word from the bigwigs at League says it’s gonna be 11:59 PM server time. So that’s when I needed to make my final push.
And you know what? There are rewards, too. I heard that if you hit Gold in Split 1, you snag that Victorious Kog’Maw skin. Sweet, right? And for us grinding in Split 2, it’s all about that Victorious Sona. Gotta get those rewards, man.
Of course, once Split 2 ends, they’re gonna do that soft rank reset thing at the start of Split 3. It’s like, you climb all the way up, and then they nudge you down a bit. It’s all good, though, it happens every time, so we’re all used to it. I’m not even mad about it now. I know what happens when you see your new rank. It will be like “Oh, not that one.”
- Started strong, climbed ranks.
- Hit a rough patch, losing streaks.
- Kept an eye on the September 24th deadline.
- Aimed for those Victorious skins.
- Braced for the inevitable rank reset.
So here we are, waiting for Split 2 to end, and then it’s straight into Split 3. And, by the way, mark your calendars for January 9, 2024. That’s when the whole of Season 14 wraps up, including Split 3. That’s gonna be it for our Season 14 ranks. It’s all or nothing until then.
It’s been a grind, but hey, that’s League for you. Always something to work towards, always a new challenge. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Final Thoughts
I just gotta say, this whole experience has been a rollercoaster. But through the ups and downs, I’ve learned a lot, improved my gameplay, and had some unforgettable moments. And that’s what it’s all about, right? Getting better, having fun, and enjoying the ride. Here’s to more games, more challenges, and more victories in the future. Cheers, fellow Summoners!
