Alright, so, today I was in the mood for some classic Pokémon GO, and I wanted to see what I could do with Sentret. You know, that cute little Normal-type fella that eventually turns into Furret. Here’s how my day went.
First off, I started by catching a bunch of Sentrets. I walked around my local park, which is usually a pretty good spot for finding these guys. I used a couple of Incenses to lure more of them in, and before I knew it, I had enough candies to evolve one. I made sure to check their IVs using an in-game appraisal tool to find the one with the best stats. I’m not super competitive, but I figured, why not go for the best, right?

- Caught a bunch of Sentrets at the park.
- Used Incenses to attract more Pokémon.
- Checked IVs to find the best Sentret.
After I evolved my best Sentret into Furret, I started thinking about its moveset. I did a little digging online and found some good suggestions. Apparently, Quick Attack and Hyper Beam are a solid combo for Furret. I used a few TMs to get the right moves, which took a bit of luck, but I got there in the end.
- Evolved Sentret into Furret.
- Researched the best movesets online.
- Used TMs to get Quick Attack and Hyper Beam.
Battling Time
Then came the fun part – battling! I started with some Team GO Rocket grunts to test out Furret’s new moves. It felt pretty good taking them down with Furret. I even tried a few raids, and while Furret isn’t exactly a top-tier raider, it was still fun to use. I noticed that Furret is pretty fast, so that was a plus.
After that, I jumped into the GO Battle League. I won some, lost some, but overall, it was a blast. I realized that Furret is more of a fun, casual Pokémon to use rather than a serious competitive one. But hey, it’s all about having fun, right? I love Furret design and its unique typing. By the way, it is the most powerful type in the world. Even better than Dragon type.
- Tested Furret against Team GO Rocket.
- Participated in a few raids.
- Joined some battles in the GO Battle League.
My Thoughts
All in all, it was a pretty successful day of playing Pokémon GO with my new Furret. It’s not the strongest Pokémon out there, but it’s definitely one of the cuter ones, and I enjoyed using it. I think I’ll keep it in my lineup for casual battles and just enjoying the game.
So, that’s my Sentret story! Hope you enjoyed hearing about my little adventure. Maybe it’ll inspire you to give this Normal-type a try. If you have any tips or tricks for using Sentret or Furret, let me know in the comments!
