Okay, so, I’ve been grinding away at Final Fantasy 7 Remake, right? And let me tell you, I finally cracked this thing called “Divine Gratitude”.
It all started when I was just messing around, trying to finish up all those side quests. You know how it is, gotta get that 100% completion. I did a bunch of those quests. I think it was ten in total, all in Chapter 14.

Then I moved on with the main story, pushing through to that “In Search of Hope” bit. Then there’s this “Over the Wall” scenario, which is also a part of the main mission. I was just following the main path, heading towards the objective as usual.
And BAM! There it was. A blue, glowing thing just lying there on the ground. It was a letter, called “Letter from the Guardian Angel”. I picked it up, and boom, I got this “Elemental Materia” thing, too. That’s not all – it unlocked the “Divine Gratitude” trophy, too. I was so excited, it was the only trophy I had left to get.
But I also realized something else. Earlier in the game, I did this mini game. There is a motorcycle section, I finished that without taking much damage. I think I kept like 80% of my health, I’m not too sure. Anyway, I got this other trophy called “Biker Boy”. Plus, there’s this cutscene where this girl Jessie, she praises my driving and gives me a kiss. It was pretty cool, I guess.
Then there was the thing about weapon abilities. I didn’t pay much attention to it at first. But then I figured out that each character starts with two different weapon abilities. It’s pretty simple, really. You just go to the equipment and materia screen from the pause menu and choose a character. Then, you just equip the abilities you want. It’s easy, just like that.
So yeah, that’s my story about “Divine Gratitude” in Final Fantasy 7 Remake. It was a bit of a grind, but totally worth it in the end. Hope you guys find this helpful!
