Okay, so, I’ve been hooked on Pokemon Go lately, like seriously hooked. And one thing I’ve been diving into is the whole friend code thing. It’s pretty cool, you can connect with other trainers, send gifts, and stuff. So, I figured, why not try to get some celebrity friend codes? Sounds fun, right?
First, I hit up Google to see what I could find. Turns out, there are websites dedicated to sharing Pokemon Go friend codes. These sites let you filter by country, team, and even by what you’re looking for in a friend, like if you want to exchange gifts or do raids together. I spent some time browsing these sites, but most of the codes were from regular players like me. Not exactly what I was hoping for.

Then, I remembered there are online communities for Pokemon Go players. I joined a Discord server called “Pokemon GO Friends” and also checked out the “r/PokemonGoFriends” subreddit. These places are full of people sharing their codes and looking for new friends. I scrolled through tons of posts, but again, no celebrity sightings.
I did learn a cool trick, though! You can add friends by scanning QR codes. There’s even a website for it. That’s definitely a quicker way to add people than typing in those long codes. But still no luck on the celebrity front. It is a good way to add friends.
I also found out how to add friends in the game itself. You go to your trainer profile, and there’s a code there you can share. It is 12 digits. And there’s even a new “Party” tab where you can create a group with nearby trainers using a code or QR code. That’s pretty neat for playing with people you meet in person. And that’s what I did. I found a few friends through this way.
I stumbled upon a tweet from MYSTIC7, a big name in the Pokemon Go world, sharing their friend code. But when I tried it, it was already full. Bummer. I still tried to add this celebrity, and it did not work.
So, yeah, my quest for celebrity Pokemon Go friend codes didn’t exactly pan out the way I’d hoped. But I did learn a lot about how to connect with other players and make friends in the game. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll stumble upon a famous trainer’s code. Until then, I’ll keep adding regular folks and enjoying the game. It’s still fun to connect with other trainers, even if they’re not famous.
