Yo, let me tell ya, my grandson, he’s always on that computer, clickin’ away. He says it’s a game, somethin’ called “CS” somethin’. He says he’s tryin’ to get a case with best knife odds. Sounds like a load of hogwash to me, but what do I know? I just know he gets real excited when he gets a new one of these “cases.”
What’s this CS Game Anyways?
From what I can gather, this game, it’s like a bunch of fellas runnin’ around shootin’ each other. But the thing my grandson cares about is these “cases.” He says they got “skins” inside. And some of these skins, they’re worth a lot of money. More money than I made in a month pickin’ cotton, that’s for sure! It is real money he gets, if lucky!
He showed me one time, this colorful knife, said it was worth more than my old truck! I told him he was crazy, but he just laughed. Kids these days, I swear. I said “Boy, you better be careful, throwin’ your money away like that, buyin these best knife odds things.”
The Odds of Getting a Knife in case
He says there’s different kinds of these cases. Some are better than others. He’s always goin’ on about the “odds.” Like it’s some kind of lottery. Says some cases got better knife odds than others. He’s always lookin’ for the case with best knife odds.

Like the Chroma 2 Case is one of them that has good odds. If you choose this case, the odds of getting a knife out are pretty good, or so he says. What a name, I know, sounds like a sickness!
Those “Skins” They Talk About
These “skins,” they’re like fancy clothes for the guns and knives in the game. My grandson, he’s always showin’ me pictures. Some of ’em are kinda pretty, I guess. But I still don’t see why they’re worth so much money. He keeps sayin’, “Grandma, this one is super rare!” Rare like a two-headed calf, I suppose.
And these “knives,” they ain’t for cuttin’ no rope, that is what he told me. They’re just for show. Like those fancy plates my sister used to collect. Never ate off ’em, just hung ’em on the wall. Same kinda thing, I reckon, just this is on a computer. He spends hours lookin’ at these knife odds, tryin’ to find the best case.
Throwin’ Money Away on Cases?
I told him, “Son, you’re throwin’ your money away on these things.” He says it’s an “investment.” An investment! Like buyin’ land or a good mule. I told him, “You could buy a whole herd of goats for what you’re spendin’ on these virtual knives!” He just rolls his eyes. Kids!
He says sometimes people put their all money into this “cases openning” thing, that is how they call it, I think. Oh boy, I do not like the sound of that. I hope he knows what he is doing.
He told me he was once openning cases for 3 hours and got nothin’! Can you imagine? I told him he could have weeded my whole garden in that time! He just patted my hand, like I don’t understand. I do understand, it sounds like a waste of time and money, if you ask me. He said he needs to find a case with best knife odds next time, maybe he will get lucky. What a life.
Is It Worth It? This Knife Odds Thing
I don’t know if these knife odds and cases are worth it. Seems like a lot of fuss over somethin’ you can’t even hold in your hand. But my grandson, he seems happy. And I guess that’s what matters. He’s a good boy, even if he does spend his money on silly things, that is what he says at least, “the case with best knife odds“.
I still think he should be savin’ his money for somethin’ real. Like a nice piece of land. Or a good wife. But what do I know? I’m just an old lady. He says I don’t understand the “meta.” Whatever that means. He is always talking about this best knife odds thing, though.
I hope he gets his fancy knife, though. He gets so excited talkin’ about it. Maybe one day he’ll show me how to play this game. Then I can see what all the fuss is about, this whole knife odds business. I doubt it, though, these new things are too complicated for me, I prefer to watch my grandson have fun, that’s more than enough for me. And if he can get some money for these colorful skins, good for him, I say! But I still do not understand how a picture of a knife can cost more than a cow.
He is a good boy, though. As long as he is happy and not hurtin’ nobody, I guess it is alright. Just wish he would spend more time outside, is all. Too much time inside, no good for nobody, that is what I always say.
