This here Jordi Alba, he’s a soccer player, you know? Playin’ in that FIFA 23 game. My grandson, he’s always on about it. Says this Alba fella is real good. He got some kinda special card, an “End of an Era” one, or somethin’ like that. Sounds fancy, don’t it?
He’s from that Barcelona team, my grandson says. Always wearin’ blue and red, like a dang rooster. This Alba, he’s a defender, which means he stops the other fellas from scorin’. He’s been doin’ it a long time, too. That’s why they call it “End of an Era,” I reckon. He’s probably gettin’ old, like me!

They got different cards for him in this FIFA 23 game. One’s rated 85, and there is another one, a fancy one, they say is 95! That’s a high number, ain’t it? Means he’s a real good player, I guess. My grandson, he’s tryin’ to get that 95 one. He’s always doin’ these challenges on the game to get it. Says it’s called an “SBC.”
He’s a little fella, this Jordi Alba. Only 5’7″, that’s what it says. Not much taller than my old hen, Gertrude. But I guess he’s fast. Gotta be fast to play that soccer, runnin’ back and forth all the time. My knees hurt just thinkin’ about it.

My grandson, he also talks about this thing called “chemistry.” Says it’s important in the game. It’s like mixin’ feed for the chickens. You gotta have the right stuff together, or they don’t lay good eggs. This Alba, he’s got good “chemistry” with another fella, name of Busquets. They play on the same team, see?

This chemistry thing, it’s all about who’s playin’ together. If they’re from the same country, or the same team, or somethin’ called a “league,” they play better together. Like my old dogs, Buster and Duke. They always hunted better as a pair.
And get this, in this FIFA 23, they say if you bring a player in later, like from the bench, they don’t get this chemistry boost. So you gotta start ’em together, I guess. It’s all a bit confusin’, but my grandson seems to know what he’s doin’.
They also say in this FIFA 23 game, even if a player has no chemistry, he still plays okay. They used to be worse, but now they changed it. So even if this Jordi Alba fella is playin’ with strangers, he’s still gonna do alright. That is good, I guess.
High chemistry helps your team win. This Jordi Alba, if you put him with the right people, he’ll play even better. They get some kind of bonus, like when I give my chickens extra corn. They get all fired up and lay more eggs.

So, that’s what I know about this Jordi Alba FIFA 23 thing. My grandson, he could talk your ear off about it. He says this Alba is one of the best defenders in the game. And that “End of an Era” card, that’s somethin’ special. Makes him play even better, like he’s got superpowers or somethin’.
I don’t understand all of it, but it makes my grandson happy. And that’s all that matters, right? He’s a good boy, even if he spends too much time playin’ that darn game. But hey, at least he ain’t out there causin’ trouble. He’s just tryin’ to get that Jordi Alba card.
So if you’re playin’ that FIFA 23 game, you better watch out for that Jordi Alba. He might be small, but he’s a tough one. Just like my old rooster, Bartholomew. He was a little fella, but he ruled the roost!

I still don’t know all about this game, this FIFA 23. But seems like this Jordi Alba, he is really good. Hope he keeps playing good, even if he is old. Maybe I should ask my grandson to show me how to play, this Jordi Alba, he seems good.
