This here talkin’ ’bout that CS:GO Rising Sun thing. Shoot, I don’t know much ’bout them video games, but my grandson, he’s all the time playin’ ’em. Says this one’s got all sorts of fancy stuff in it, somethin’ called skins? Like puttin’ new clothes on your gun, I reckon.
What’s this Rising Sun Thing About?
Well, from what that young’un told me, this Rising Sun Collection is like a special box of goodies in that CS:GO game. Got all sorts of purty things in it, makes your guns look all fancy-like. He said it’s got somethin’ to do with Japan. You know, that place way over yonder across the ocean. They got them cherry blossoms and them fancy swords. I reckon these skins, they got that kinda look to ’em. Lots of red and gold, he said, and some of ’em even got dragons on ’em. Sounds mighty fine to me, even though I ain’t never seen a real dragon myself.
He was goin’ on and on about somethin’ called Operation Bloodhound. Sounded like some kinda secret mission thing. Said that’s how you used to get these Rising Sun skins. Now it’s somethin’ about Shattered Web, which sounds like a spider got loose in the game, if you ask me. Kids these days and their crazy names. All I know is you gotta buy or trade for ’em now. Can’t just get ’em from playin’ no more, my grandson says. He’s always goin’ on about tradin’ with his friends. That’s how these young’uns do things now, I guess.
How You Get Them Skins?
- Used to be you could get ’em from playin’, in that Bloodhound thing.
- Now you gotta buy ’em or trade for ’em, that’s what my grandson says.
- He says somethin’ about a “Care Package” you get each week.
- Says you can get one “Weapon Case” in there, but it’s all random.
Now, I ain’t one to spend money on somethin’ you can’t hold in your hand. But my grandson, he says there’s this place called Freecash. Says you can do chores and stuff on there, earn points, and then get these skins for free. Sounds like a lotta work to me, but he seems to like it. Says it’s better than spendin’ his allowance. He’s a good boy, always tryin’ to save a buck. These kids are smarter than they look, I tell ya. They figure out all these ways to get what they want without spendin’ a dime. Me, I’d rather just go fishin’. That’s free entertainment, and you might even catch somethin’ for supper.
He also said that you can trade with friends to get these CS:GO skins. It’s a good thing, I guess. You gotta help your friends out, I reckon. That’s just how things are, you scratch my back and I scratch yours. These kids are alright after all, even though they playin’ these games all the time.
All Them Different Skins
My grandson, he tried to show me all these different skins in the Rising Sun Collection. There was a whole bunch of ’em. Sixteen, he said. That’s a lot of different ways to dress up your gun, I reckon. He was pointin’ at the screen, sayin’ this one’s called this, and that one’s called that. I couldn’t keep up with all them names. They all looked kinda the same to me, all red and gold and fancy-like. I reckon if you’re into that kinda thing, it’s probably pretty excitin’.
He kept goin’ on about how some are rarer than others. Like findin’ a four-leaf clover, I guess. Makes ’em more special, he said. And worth more, too, if you’re gonna trade ’em. These kids and their tradin’. It’s like when we used to trade baseball cards, only it’s all digital now. Hard for an old-timer like me to understand, but I try to keep up. It’s important to them, so I listen. That’s what family does, you know. You gotta care about the things that matter to them, even if it’s just some picture on a screen.
Why Folks Like These Skins
I asked my grandson why these Rising Sun skins are so popular. He said it’s ’cause they look cool. Well, I guess that makes sense. Folks like things that look nice. He also said they remind him of Japan, and he thinks that place is neat. He’s always been interested in them foreign countries. Maybe one day he’ll go there, see them cherry blossoms for himself. I told him, you gotta see the world, son. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that. But you gotta be careful, too. There are a lot of strange folks out there, not everyone’s as friendly as us.
He said some folks like to collect these skins, like how I collect them old mason jars. Only these skins don’t take up no space in the house, which is probably a good thing. My husband used to complain about all my jars, said we had more jars than we had food to put in ’em. But I like ’em. They remind me of my mama. She used to can everything, you know. Peaches, tomatoes, green beans, you name it. We never went hungry, that’s for sure.
These young folks today, they don’t know what it’s like to work for your food. They just go to the store and buy whatever they want. They don’t appreciate these things the way we did. We work hard to put food on the table, that’s why these skins seems useless to me. You can’t eat them, you can’t use them for anything. But like my grandson always says, “Different strokes for different folks,” I reckon.
Anyways, that’s all I know about this CS:GO The Rising Sun Collection thing. It’s a whole lot of somethin’ about nothin’, if you ask me. But the young folks seem to like it, and that’s all that matters, I guess. As long as they’re happy, that’s all that matters. If you like these skins, you should get them. If you don’t, you should just leave them alone. It’s that simple, I reckon. You don’t have to like everything other people like. Just be yourself, that’s what my husband always says.
