He’s always yellin’ about some character named Revenant, and let me tell ya, that fella looks like a whole mess of trouble. Somethin’ about skins, whatever that is. Seems important, though, the way he goes on. He showed me once, I think, some pictures, all kinds of different looks for this Revenant character.
What in Tarnation are Revenant Skins?
So, these Revenant skins, they’re like, different outfits for that scary robot man. He’s already a spooky lookin’ thing, but they got all kinds of ways to make him look even more wild. Like different clothes, but not really clothes, you know? It’s all part of the game, I reckon. My grandson, he says it makes him feel cool, playin’ with all these different looks. Whatever floats your boat, I guess. This Apex Legends Revenant, he’s got more outfits than I do, and that’s sayin’ somethin’.
All the Different Looks for That Revenant Fella
Lord, there’s so many! That boy showed me a whole bunch of ’em. I swear, there must be a hundred of these Revenant skins Apex players can use. Some are kinda plain, just different colors, you know. But others? Whew! They make him look like a demon straight outta some nightmare. I saw one that was all fiery lookin’, like he was made of lava or somethin’. Then there’s another one, he looks like a skeleton wearing king’s clothes. There is even one that he is full of flowers, which makes me laugh out loud.

- Some is fancy and wild.
- One looks like fire, real scary.
- One is like a bone king or something.
- Another one is flowery, which is funny lookin’.
How Many of These Revenant Skins Are There?
I tell you what, there are too many of these things. My grandson, bless his heart, he tried to show me all of them. But we were there for an hour, and we still weren’t done. He said somethin’ about 84, I think. Yeah, 84 different Revenant skins! Can you believe that? Eighty-four ways to dress up a video game character. Back in my day, we were lucky to have two outfits, one for church and one for workin’ in the field. Now they got 84 for a scary robot. I tell you what, it is a new world.
And he said some are special, these Revenant skins Apex has. I don’t rightly remember what he called ’em. “Mythic,” I think? He said there are only 3 of them. He also talked about Legendary ones, 29 of those. Then there are some called “Epic,” I think he said 12. The others are just common, I guess, like 23 “Rare” and 17 “Common”. They got a whole system for these things, these all Revenant skins Apex, it’s all a bit much for me.

Why Do These Young’uns Care So Much About These Skins?
I don’t rightly know. I guess it makes ’em feel good, havin’ all these different looks for their characters. It’s like when I was a girl, and I got a new ribbon for my hair. Made me feel pretty. Maybe it’s like that, but with these Revenant skins. They want to show off, I reckon. Be the coolest one in the game. It is like kids showing off their toys, but it is all in the game, not real.
My grandson, he says it makes him feel powerful, playin’ as this Revenant fella with all his fancy skins. Says it makes him feel like he can win. It’s all about winnin’ with these kids. I told him, winnin’ ain’t everything. But he just rolled his eyes and went back to his game, probably lookin’ for more of these all Revenant skins Apex offers.
This Whole Apex Legends Thing is Confusing
This whole Apex Legends thing is a bit much for me, if I’m honest. All these characters, and guns, and these Revenant skins, it’s just a lot of noise and flash. But the young’uns love it. And I guess that’s what matters. As long as they’re happy, right? Even if they are spendin’ all their money on some robot’s outfits. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to have a cup of tea. It is too much for me to think about all Revenant skins Apex has.
