I heard them young folks talking, always saying, “Is Dark Vanguard this?” “Is Dark Vanguard that?” I gotta figure out what’s the big deal about it. They say it’s some kinda skin in that Fortnite game. Is it a battle pass skin? I don’t even know what a battle pass is. Sounds fancy though.
What’s a Battle Pass Anyway?
So, this battle pass thing, they say you gotta pay for it? Like a ticket? And then you get stuff in the game? These kids and their games, I tell ya. Back in my day, we played outside. But I guess times are changing. If you buy this battle pass thing, do you get that Dark Vanguard? I am not sure. I gotta ask my grandson, he plays Fortnite all day long, he will know.

I also heard them talking about some Dark Voyager. Another space guy, I guess. Is he related to Dark Vanguard? Maybe they’re cousins, who knows. That Dark Voyager, he’s Legendary, too. They say he was in Season 3 of that battle pass. See, I’m learning something new every day. This Dark Voyager was in a battle pass but is very old now. You can not get it anymore, I think.

It’s all a bit confusing, ain’t it? All these skins and battle passes and whatnot. But I guess if it makes the kids happy, that’s all that matters. They love their Fortnite, and they love these skins, especially that Dark Vanguard. I saw some say it was added to the game on February 22, 2018. That was a while ago, right? So, Dark Vanguard is not new.
Why Do They Like Dark Vanguard So Much?
Maybe it’s because Dark Vanguard looks cool. It’s all mysterious, like I said. Or maybe it’s because it’s Legendary, and that makes it special. Or maybe they just like collecting things. Who knows why these young folks like what they like. But they sure do talk about Dark Vanguard a lot. It is all they talk about sometimes, that and other skins I do not know. I heard them say Nightshade one time, too.

This Fortnite, it’s a big deal, I guess. And this Dark Vanguard, it’s a big deal in Fortnite. So, if you’re playing Fortnite, maybe you want Dark Vanguard. But I don’t think you can get it from a battle pass, not anymore at least. You probably gotta buy it, like I said. Or maybe trade for it, I don’t know how these things work, to be honest.
