You get this Mega Energy from battles, them big raid ones. You team up with other folks, fight a big, strong Pokémon. It’s tough, but worth it. Or you can do them special tasks, the game gives you. Sometimes you get Mega Energy from them. There is also something like, you walk with your Charmander as your buddy, and sometimes he finds the Mega Energy.
Once you got enough of this Mega Energy, 200 of them, you can make your Shiny Charizard go Mega. But only for a while, mind you. It’s not forever. Like when I use those coupons. After a time, back to normal. Then gotta get more Mega Energy to do it again.
Which Mega is Better?
Now, there are two of them Mega Charizards. X and Y, they call ’em. One’s black and blue, the other’s black and orange. Both strong, like a good ox. But people say different things about which one’s better. Some like X, some like Y. Depends on what you’re fightin’, I reckon.
I heard that Route 11 is a good place. You know. Someone caught two Charizards there. And Dragonites. Whatever they are.
