Oh, honey, you wanna know when will Madden 23 servers be back up? That game, my grandson, he plays it all the time. Drives me up the wall, but what can you do? Kids these days and their electric games. Back in my day, we played outside ’til the cows came home. Anyway, I hear him yelling about these servers all the time.
Madden 23 Servers Down, What’s a Granny To Do?
Well, I asked him once what the deal was with these server things. He said it’s like when the telephone lines are down. You can’t call nobody, can’t talk to nobody. Same with this Madden game, I guess. When the servers are down, he can’t play with his friends online. Something like that. He tried to explain it to me, but it’s all a bunch of mumbo jumbo to me.
Now, when will madden 23 servers be back up you ask? I overheard him talking to his friends about it. Sometimes they go down for fixing. Like when your old television acts up, and you gotta call the repairman. They gotta fix things up, make it all work again. Sometimes, it only takes a little bit. Sometimes longer. He says they usually do it in the morning, like 10:30 AM ET, whatever that means. Sounds like some government time to me.
Checking if Madden 23 is Down
Here are a few things my grandson does when his game won’t work. It might help you figure out what’s going on.
- He looks at his phone a lot. He says he’s checking something called “Twitter.” I think that’s a bird, right? But he says there’s a special Madden 23 Twitter, whatever that is, that tells you if the servers are busted. He calls it @MaddenNFLDirect.
- He also checks something called “Down Detector.” Sounds like something you’d use to find water in the well, but he says it tells you if lots of folks are having trouble with the game. I told him when something doesn’t work for everyone, it’s probably broken. He just rolled his eyes at me. Kids!
- He says you can check EA, Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo to see if something wrong. I don’t know what those are but those are important for the game, I guess.
- He also mumbled something about 5 GHz. Like that’s some kind of speed. Said the game might work better with it. Lord knows what that means. He said maybe all games like it, not just Madden.
So, if your Madden 23 servers are down, it’s probably one of those things. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. They always seem to get it fixed eventually. You know how these things are. They break, they get fixed, they break again. It’s just the way of the world now.
Madden NFL 20 Done For Good
One more thing, I heard him say the other day that Madden NFL 20 won’t work online anymore. He said the servers are “sunset” on April 15th, 2024. Like the sun going down, I guess. Means it’s finished. So, if you got that old game, it won’t work like it used to. You can’t play with others anymore.
Just Wait a Bit, Honey
I asked my grandson what he does when the Madden 23 servers are down. He said he just waits. He finds something else to do. Maybe you should too. Go outside, read a book, bake a pie. There’s a whole world out there beyond that game, you know. I told him he should go play some stickball like we used to. Get some fresh air. He just laughed and went back to his room.
But really, if you just wait a little while, they usually get those servers back up and running. Like I said, they gotta fix things sometimes. It’s like when the power goes out. You just gotta wait for the electric company to do their job. Patience, honey, patience. That’s what my mama always used to say.

Then you can get back to your game, and my grandson can get back to yelling at the television. Life goes on, right?
