Well, let me tell you, this League of Legends thing, they sure do like to change it up, don’t they? It’s like my old quilt, always gettin’ patched and sewed up with new bits. This time, it’s all about them rune changes, like changin’ the color of the yarn in my knittin’. They say it’s for the better, somethin’ about Season 15 and 2025. I don’t know, seems like a whole heap of fuss to me. They got this new monster comin’, too. Sounds scary.
They used to have somethin’ called Runes and Masteries, but they threw that out like yesterday’s leftovers. Now it’s all Runes Reforged, fancy name, ain’t it? Like they hammered it out on an anvil or somethin’. They did that back in Pre-Season Eight, time sure does fly when you are havin’ fun.
These runes, they’re like little charms you pick for your… what do they call ’em? Champions, yeah, that’s it. You pick ’em based on what you want your champion to be good at, like if you want ’em to hit hard or be tough as nails, or maybe a little bit of both. And you have your roles, like plantin’ different crops in your garden. Each one needs somethin’ different to grow big and strong.
Now, they got different kinds of these runes. They got marks, which are for hittin’ harder. Then there are seals, them’s for takin’ hits. Glyphs, those are like, well, I don’t rightly know, somethin’ about bein’ useful. And then there’s quints. Them’s the big ones, like the prize-winnin’ pumpkin at the county fair. They do a little bit of everythin’. And there’s this thing, Aery, they say they made it stronger. Its base dmg and shield base power both increased. Whatever that is.
You pick the ones you like, just like pickin’ out the best seeds for your garden. You gotta think about what kind of champions you like to play with. It is like when I make my stew, gotta use the right ingredients, you know? Some folks, they like their champions to be all about bashin’ heads. Others like ’em to be sneaky, like a fox in the henhouse. These runes, they help with that.
They say you used to have to buy these runes in some shop. Spend your hard-earned money on ’em. They have that RP or IP. Sounds like a waste to me. Good thing I ain’t never had to bother with all that. But I heard you should not buy the level 1 runes. Waste of money. Just like buyin’ a three-legged cow, ain’t no good to nobody.
- Marks: For hittin’ hard, like a good whack with a broom.
- Seals: For takin’ hits, tough like an old boot.
- Glyphs: Useful stuff, like a good pair of scissors.
- Quints: The big ones, do a little bit of everything.
And this League of Legends, they keep changin’ it. Every year, somethin’ new. It’s like tryin’ to keep up with the young folks’ dancin’. Just when you think you got the steps down, they go and change the whole tune. They even gonna change the whole Seasons. They say they will take a new way in 2025. I reckon it’s all to keep things interestin’, like addin’ a new spice to your stew. But sometimes, you just want the same old recipe, you know? The one that’s been in the family for years.
They say they gonna change the Ranked reset. Whatever that means. I think it has somethin’ to do with who’s the best at this League of Legends thing. Like winnin’ the blue ribbon at the pie contest. Everyone wants to be the best, but there’s only one blue ribbon.
They say they are gonna make sweeping changes to this game. Removed and reworked. They always have to change somethin’. But I guess that’s just the way of things. Nothin’ stays the same forever, not even my old bones. Even my old dog, bless his heart, he had to learn new tricks sometimes. Just gotta roll with the punches, I suppose. Like when the weather turns bad and you gotta bring in the laundry. Just gotta adapt.
All these rune changes, they make my head spin. It’s like tryin’ to count all the chickens in the yard after a fox got in. But I reckon the young folks, they understand it all. They’re always on about this League of Legends. Their thumbs movin’ faster than a hummingbird’s wings. They know all about these rune changes and this Season 15.
This whole League of Legends thing, it’s a mystery to me. But if it makes the young folks happy, then I guess it ain’t all bad. They are always saying these changes are very good. They are always so excited about that midseason update. Just like my grandkids when they see I’ve baked a fresh batch of cookies. They get all excited and can’t wait to get their hands on ’em. I reckon it’s the same with these rune changes. The young folks, they can’t wait to try ’em out.
