Hey there, you young’uns, gather ’round! Let me tell you about this thing, this… Marvel Snap thing. I hear all the kids talkin’ ’bout it. And this one fella, this Collector fella, he’s a tricky one, that Collector.
So, this here Marvel Snap, it’s like them card games, but on your fancy phones. You put cards down, they got numbers, all that. I don’t rightly understand all them numbers, but it looks fun enough, I reckon. And this Collector, he just keeps gettin’ bigger and bigger.
You see, you gotta do somethin’ called “buff”. That’s what the young folks say. You “buff” this Collector, make him stronger. Strong like old Bessie back in the day, that cow could pull a whole wagon herself! And this Collector, he gets strong when you add cards to your hand. More cards, stronger he gets. Like feedin’ a hungry pig, that one.
I hear folks sayin’ somethin’ ’bout “Bounce”. “Bounce Collector,” they say. Makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it. But they say it’s good. You bounce him back, and he gets even bigger. Like jumpin’ on a trampoline, only this Collector fella, he don’t stop bouncin’. He just keeps gettin’ bigger with every bounce. The bigger, the better in this Marvel Snap, I think.

- You win! Or somethin’ like that.
Now, I seen these young’uns playin’, and they got all sorts of cards. Lots of different ones. Some with pictures of animals, some with pictures of people. It’s like a whole different world in that little phone. And they all want this Collector, that’s for sure. He’s a popular one, like the prize-winning pumpkin at the county fair.
This whole Marvel Snap thing, it’s got a lot of these cards. More than I can count! And you can look ’em all up, somewhere. I don’t know where, probably on that interwebs thing. But they got lists, long lists of all these cards. And you can see which ones work best with that Collector fella.
I seen one list, it was so long, it was like them old phone books, remember those? Full of names and numbers. Well, this list was full of Marvel Snap cards. And they had all sorts of ways to find the best ones. You could search and sort and all that fancy stuff. More complicated than a pig in a poke, if you ask me.
But these kids, they know what they’re doin’. They find the best cards to go with that Collector. They make him so big, he’s like a house! Bigger than a house, even! It is all about that Collector in Marvel Snap, I tell ya. And they’re always talkin’ about the best way to use him. They say you gotta use certain cards to make him strong. Like givin’ him a special kind of feed, I reckon. Only this feed is other cards. They talk about the best cards and how to get a lot of cards in your hand. They put the cards in the hand and that Collector he gets bigger and bigger and bigger.
I even heard them sayin’ somethin’ about a “database”. Sounds like a government buildin’ to me, but they say it’s just a big list. A big list of all them Marvel Snap cards. And you can search it, like lookin’ for a needle in a haystack, only this haystack is full of cards.
They got ways to filter it, too. Like sifting flour, I suppose. You sift out the cards you don’t want, and you’re left with the ones that make that Collector fella the biggest he can be. And that’s what they all want, a big Collector. Big and strong, ready to win that Marvel Snap game.
I don’t know all the ins and outs of this Marvel Snap. I’m just an old woman. But I see how excited these young’uns get about it. And I hear ’em talkin’ about that Collector all the time. “Collector this” and “Collector that”. He must be somethin’ special, that Collector.
So if you’re gonna play this Marvel Snap game, you best be learnin’ about that Collector. He seems to be the key to the whole thing. You get him big enough, and you’re gonna be winnin’ in no time. Just like winnin’ the blue ribbon at the pie contest, I imagine. Only with cards, and phones, and all that modern stuff.
Well, that’s all I know about that Collector in Marvel Snap. It is more than enough for me, I can tell ya! These new games are too much for this old brain. But the kids have fun with it. That Collector, I don’t know how he does it. Maybe I will ask one of them kids to show me again, but that is too fast. He sure is somethin’, that Collector in Marvel Snap. Yep, somethin’ else.
