That eg valorant roster, I tell you what, it’s somethin’ else. Them young’uns playin’ that game, shootin’ and what not. My grandson, he’s always on about it. Says it’s a big deal. Some team called Evil Geniuses, sounds a bit nasty if you ask me, but they’re in it.
They got picked for some big ol’ valorant thing, VCT, some kinda championship I reckon. Back in my day, we played outside, not on these computer thingamajigs. But hey, times change, right? They said Evil Geniuses got picked in 2022. That was last year, you know. Time sure does fly.
Each one of them teams, they got five players, like a basketball team. But they can have five more just sittin’ there, waitin’. Ten fellas total for each team! Can you believe it? And get this, more than one team from the same place can play. Like havin’ two baseball teams from the same town. Sounds a bit much to me, but what do I know?
Now, in this valorant game, they got these characters, they call ’em “agents”. And these agents, they ain’t all the same. Some are good at controllin’ things, some are good at duelin’, like cowboys, and some start things up, initiators they call ’em. Four different kinds in total. It’s like havin’ different tools in your shed, I suppose. Each one good for somethin’ different.
These eg valorant players, they’re supposed to be top-notch, S-tier they call it. Like the best cream of the crop. They’re the best of the best at shootin’ and strategizin’ in that game. My grandson, he watches ’em all the time. Says I should watch it too, but I don’t know. Seems a bit much for an old lady like me.
I found out that this Evil Geniuses valorant team, they got some kinda record. I think their stats. All about how many times they won and lost, I guess. Like keepin’ score in a card game. It’s all a bit complicated for me, but them young folks, they eat it up. They love all them numbers and whatnot. They also have a roster, you know who is on the team and who is not on the team.

This whole valorant thing is somethin’ else. I remember when games were simple. Hopscotch, jump rope, that kinda thing. Now it’s all these fancy computer games with all these rules and characters. But I guess that’s what the kids like these days.
This Evil Geniuses valorant team, they must be pretty good to be in that big tournament. My grandson, he sure thinks so. He’s always talkin’ about them. Maybe I’ll try to watch it sometime, just to see what all the fuss is about. But I still think I prefer a good ol’ fashioned game of checkers. Less shootin’ and more thinkin’, that’s what I say.
Anyways, that eg valorant roster, it’s a big deal in that valorant world. Lots of players, lots of teams, lots of shootin’. It’s a whole different world than what I’m used to. But hey, as long as them young’uns are havin’ fun, that’s all that matters, right?
I still don’t rightly understand all of it. This valorant and that eg valorant roster. But my grandson, he sure is excited about it. And that’s good enough for me. Maybe it is somethin’ special after all. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll even be able to tell what is going on when those young folks playin’.
This whole e-sports thing, it is just a big thing nowadays. People just get crazy about it. But to me, it is just some game. I think they play too much. They need to go out more, just like we did back to my old days.
I heard that this valorant game is really popular. Many people play it all over the world. Even in China, I heard some people are really good at it. And some of them even make a living just by playing games. Can you imagine it? Play games and get money. What a world!
All I know is, those eg valorant folks, they sure know how to play that game. And my grandson, he sure loves watchin’ ’em. So, I guess it’s all good. Just a different kind of game for a different kind of time. As long as everyone is happy. That is what really matters.
