They say this list changes all the time, like the weather. One day it’s sunny, next day it’s rainin’ cats and dogs. This mid lane tier list thing is the same, I reckon. They got these “patches”, like patches on an old quilt. Every patch, the list changes. Some champions get good, some get bad.
Now, I hear them talkin’ about somethin’ called “win rate.” Sounds like how often you win, which makes sense. Then there’s “ban rate” – that’s how often folks don’t want a certain champion around. Like that ol’ rooster we had that kept peckin’ everyone. Had to get rid of him, he was banned from the coop, ha!
And then there’s somethin’ called “pick rate.” I guess that’s how often folks choose a certain champion. Like pickin’ the best apples from the tree. You want the good ones, right? So, this LoL mid lane tier list, it’s all about these rates and such. They make this list by some fancy “algorithm”. Ain’t that a word? Sounds like somethin’ you’d find in one of them science books.

- Ban rate – like when your neighbor’s dog keeps gettin’ into your garden.
- Pick rate – like pickin’ the prettiest flowers for your windowsill.
I heard ’em sayin’ somethin’ about a “Patch 14.21”. Don’t know what that means, but it sounds important. They say it’s “huge”. Maybe like that giant pumpkin we grew last year. This patch changes things up in the mid lane, makes some champions better, some worse. It’s like mixin’ up the ingredients in your stew, changes the whole flavor.

They got all sorts of names for these champions. Funny names, too. I don’t remember them all. Some sound like creatures, some sound like things you’d find in a toolbox. But they all got their own special skills, like how Bessie the cow gives the sweetest milk, and that old mule can plow a field faster than anythin’. Each champion got their own thing.

I don’t understand it, but they sure do get excited about it. This tier list thing, it tells you all about these builds and runes for each champion. Like a recipe book for this game. You gotta follow the recipe to do well, I guess.

They also say that the position is like the keystone. Whatever that means. They keep saying it is at the top of the diamond, so it must be something very important for the whole team. Just like the eldest son in a family. They carry a lot of weight, you know.
Well, I reckon that’s all I know about this League of Legends mid lane tier list. It’s a lot of gibberish to me, but these kids sure do love it. They spend hours talkin’ about it, yellin’ at their screens. It’s a different world these days. But hey, as long as they’re havin’ fun, that’s all that matters, right? Just like us old folks playin’ bingo on a Saturday night. It’s all just a game, ain’t it?
