You wanna know about that Altaria thing in Pokemon Go, right? That bird thing, fluffy like a cloud, my grandson always talks about it. He keeps saying, “Gotta catch ’em all!” I don’t know what he’s talking about, but that’s what the young folks like these days, huh?
So, this Altaria, it’s a dragon and flying type, they say. Looks like a bird to me, a big fluffy one. My grandson, he showed me on his phone. He’s always on that thing. Says it’s good for something called “PvP Great League” or whatever. I just nod and smile. Kids these days and their fancy words.

Anyway, this bird, it’s got some moves, like when my old rooster used to chase the hens. This Altaria, it’s best move, they call it Dragon Breath. Sounds scary, don’t it? Like a real dragon! And also that Sky Attack move. Sounds like it comes swoopin’ down from the sky, like a hawk after a field mouse.
- Dragon Breath
- Sky Attack
Now, if you’re gonna use this Altaria, my grandson says these two moves, Dragon Breath and Sky Attack, are the most important ones, the best ones. He said something about “DPS” and “TDO.” I think he means how hard it hits. You know, like when my old rooster would peck at you if you got too close to his hens. These are the best moves for Altaria Pokemon Go.
He also said something about “Windy weather.” Makes these moves stronger, I guess. Like when the wind blows the seeds from my dandelion weeds all over the yard. Makes ’em spread real good. So, if it’s windy, this Altaria is stronger with these Dragon Breath and Sky Attack. Makes sense, kinda.
And he told me to go for something called “Dragon Pulse,” not that “Dazzling Gleam.” Sounds like something shiny, like my old brooch. But he says Dragon Pulse is better. I just take his word for it. He’s the expert on these Pokemon Go things, not me.
My grandson, he’s also always talkin’ about “IVs.” I don’t know what that is, sounds like medicine. He says 100% IVs ain’t always the best for that PvP thing. I don’t get it, but he seems to know what he’s doin’. 100% sounds pretty good to me, like when I get all my chores done for the day.
They say there’s gonna be a big Altaria, a “Mega” one, like a king or queen of the Altarias. My grandson is all excited about it, says it’s for some “Max Out season finale.” Sounds like the end of one of them TV shows I used to watch. He says if you catch one of these Mega Altarias, you gotta teach it the best movesets. Sounds important, like teaching a young’un how to milk a cow.
This Mega Altaria, it’s a Dragon and Fairy type. Fairy type? What’s that? Sounds like somethin’ out of a storybook. But I guess it’s important in this Pokemon Go thing. This is something about Altaria best moveset Pokemon Go.
There’s also something called “stats”. Like how many eggs my hens lay, I reckon. And “counters”, “weaknesses”, and “advantages”. Sounds like a war or somethin’. I guess these Pokemon battle each other. My grandson tried to explain it to me once, but it all went over my head. Too much for this old lady to keep track of.
And they talk about “catch rates.” How hard it is to catch these Pokemon, I suppose. Like tryin’ to catch that old rooster when he got loose. He was a slippery one, that rooster. These Altaria best moveset are not easy to learn, I think.
This whole Pokemon Go thing is a mystery to me. But the young folks seem to love it. My grandson, he’s always happy when he’s playing it. And that’s what matters, right? Keepin’ the young’uns happy. So, if you’re into this Pokemon Go thing, I hope this helps you with your Altaria. Just remember what I said about Dragon Breath and Sky Attack. And that Dragon Pulse thing. And the windy weather. You’ll be fine, just like my grandson is. He’s a good boy, even if he does spend too much time on that phone.

Oh, and one more thing, if you see a big fluffy bird in the sky in that game, that’s probably your Altaria. Can’t miss it, my grandson says. Now go on and catch ’em all, or whatever it is they say.
