It sits alongside the real game. Don’t mix ’em up now. You got two folders, one for the real game and one for this SPTarkov Folder thing, I keep forgettin’ what the letters mean. But it’s important. This is all about the SPT cheats, you see.
Now, I heard some fella made a thing, an installer, they call it. SPT-AKI-INSTALLER, I think it was. I ain’t used it. I did it the old-fashioned way. Hard work, but it works. Some folks don’t like that installer. Up to you, I reckon.
This SPT, it don’t talk to the big game people, you see. It’s just you and the computer. Like playin’ solitaire, but with more shootin’. They say the only thing different is that anti-cheat thing, and somethin’ called networkin’. I don’t rightly know what that is. But this SPT, it just pretends to be the big server. All these Aki things, must be important for this SPT cheats business.
I seen somethin’ about a “Simple UI” and a “SPT GIVE” command. Don’t know what that is. But they say you gotta have the server runnin’, and maybe the Tarkov game too. Sounds like a lot of work just to play a game. And they talk about .spt files, I have no idea what those are.
This whole SPT thing, it stands for “Single Player Tarkov.” I guess that’s what it is. You play by yourself. No other folks around, just you and the computer. It’s a whole different world, this computer stuff. I try to make sense of it, but it ain’t easy. Back in my day, we played outside!
