Alright, let me tell you somethin’ about these Marvel Series 3 cards. I heard folks talkin’ about ’em, and it got me thinkin’. Seems like a whole heap of folks are collectin’ these things.
I don’t know nothin’ about buildin’ no deck, but I heard you can build a Series 3 deck, whatever that means. If you don’t want to spend money on them, you can wait and use what you get from the boxes. That’s what they always say.

You gotta get these cards somehow, right? Some folks, they just collect ’em one by one. They say there’s somethin’ called “Series 3” cards. You want them cards, that is for sure. Don’t ask me what it all means, just that you want them Series 3.
They say you can build somethin’ with these cards. Buildin’ energy or somethin’. Sounds like a lot of work to me. I just want to know what’s so special about these darn things.
One fella, he was sayin’ he got to rank 80. Rank 80! What in tarnation is rank 80? He said he was still missin’ some of them Marvel Series 3 cards, but he got to rank 80 anyway. It is a big deal for them, I guess.
There’s this one card, they call it “Wong.” Now, I don’t know nothin’ about Wong, but they say it’s powerful. Some say it is too powerful. One little card can win you the whole shebang, they say. Sounds like a cheatin’ card to me.
Now, how do you get these Series 3 cards? That’s what I wanna know. People are talkin’ about “obtainin’” them. Sounds fancy. I reckon you just gotta find ’em somewhere. And there are also Series 4 and Series 5. What are those? I have no idea.
Here’s somethin’ I heard: you gotta focus on “synergies.” What in the world is a synergy? They say it’s about makin’ the cards work together. Like a team, I reckon. A good team always works better than one fella alone.
They say, you can pick any card you want. But you can only pick one. Only one per season. Whatever the season means to them. Is it like winter or summer? I don’t know. Some say Magneto is the best. But you have to choose based on what you already have. That Venom is good for destroy. And Daredevil is good for control.
And there’s somethin’ about “pool 3.” Once you finish that, you get all them cards. And you get somethin’ called “Collectors Tokens.” You get more of ’em, they say. Sounds like Monopoly money to me. And after pool 3, you can get Series 4 and 5. The higher the number, the better.
Here is what I don’t understand:
- What’s a “synergy”?
- What’s “rank 80”?
- Why is this “Wong” card so powerful?
- What is a season?
- What’s “pool 3”?
- What are these “Collectors Tokens”?
I tell ya, these Marvel Series 3 cards are a mystery to me. I just know everyone’s talkin’ about ’em. Maybe one day I’ll figure it all out. But for now, I’m just gonna keep on listenin’ and tryin’ to make sense of it all.

I heard you can build a deck with only one card. They said it is a budget deck. Sounds like something I can do, because I don’t want to spend too much money on it.
These young folks and their fancy games. Back in my day, we just played with sticks and stones. But hey, if these Marvel Series 3 cards are makin’ them happy, then I guess it’s all good.
Just remember, if you’re gonna get into this whole card collectin’ thing, you better be prepared to learn a whole lot of newfangled words. And don’t forget about them “synergies.” They seem mighty important. And that Wong card, better watch out for that one.
Well, that’s all I got for ya today. I hope this helps you understand them Marvel Series 3 cards a little bit better. If not, well, you can always ask someone else. I’m sure there’s plenty of folks out there who know more about this stuff than I do.
