Well, well, well, let me tell you somethin’ about this here ACNH game, yeah. Gifts, gifts, gifts, everybody talkin’ bout gifts. You wanna make them little animal fellas your best pals, huh? It ain’t rocket science, ya know. Just gotta know what they like, these little critters. This here is my ACNH gifts guide. Hope it helps you.
First off, you gotta figure out what these animals like. Some like this, some like that. Just like people, ain’t it? You ain’t gonna give your nephew who loves cars a doll, right? Same goes for them animal villagers. You just give ’em somethin’, they’ll be happy, but if you give somethin’ they really, really like, oh boy!
Now, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this thing called Nook Plaza. Sounds fancy, don’t it? They say it’s got all the answers. Like, what color that little squirrel likes, or what kinda clothes that grumpy ol’ bear wants. It’s a tool, they say. Like a hammer or a shovel, but for this gift givin’ business. It can help, I reckon. You don’t need it, but it might be nice to use that if you wanna know more about villagers.
- Give them somethin’ they like, they’ll be your friend quicker.
- Give them somethin’ they really like, they might even give you their picture!
- Don’t give ’em trash. They ain’t stupid, ya know.
Now, I ain’t got one of them fancy computers to use that Nook thingy, but I know a thing or two. Like, that little dog, Lucky, you know him? He’s all wrapped up like a mummy, that one. I heard he’s got a birthday. They all do! And he likes certain things, and hates others. If you wanna get on his good side, you need gifts for Lucky. Gotta find out what he likes. Maybe somethin’ spooky? Or maybe somethin’ simple, since he seems like a lazy bones.
Clothes, now, that’s a big one. They all got their own style, these animals. Some like them fancy dresses, some like them plain ol’ shirts. This Nook Plaza might tell ya what they like, so maybe check it if you are not sure what gift you should pick. And furnitures, too! They got them little houses, and they like to put stuff in ’em. Just like us, puttin’ out our knick-knacks and whatnots.
Fruits, that’s another thing. My fruit trees are growin’ like crazy. They like fruits. ‘Specially them perfect fruits. If you got a perfect apple, that will be a perfect ACNH gift! Or a perfect pear, give it to ’em. They go crazy for it! If a villager asks for a fruit, and you got a perfect one, give ’em that. Trust me on this one. They will be your friends forever if you keep doin’ that, trust me.
Now, I heard some folks sayin’ if you give ’em too much stuff, they get spoiled. I think that’s silly. But, if you’re worried ’bout that, and you want ’em to move out, there is a way. Give ’em really expensive stuff. Like them big ol’ bones you dig up. Them fossils. They’re worth a lot, I hear. Or a whole bunch of them foreign fruits. Ten of ’em! That’s a good way to make them think about movin’.
I also heard that you can give ’em a fruit basket or an iron wall lamp. I don’t know why, but I heard it works. If you want to gift villagers in ACNH, try it. Maybe try one of them. You gotta experiment sometimes, ya know. See what works.
If you give a gift to the wrong villager, don’t you worry none. It ain’t the end of the world. They might get a little mad for a day, but they’ll get over it. Just like when I accidentally gave my neighbor Mildred that ugly sweater I meant for Agnes. She was mad for a bit, but then she was fine. These things happen in life. Just gotta move on.
Now, if you really want somethin’ special from them animal pals, you gotta give ’em somethin’ worth a lot. I heard it’s gotta be worth at least 750 bells. That’s a lot of bells! Then they might give you their photo. Their picture! Ain’t that somethin’? You can hang it up in your house, all proud like. I wanna get all my villagers’ photos, hehe.
Two wrapped foreign fruits should do the trick, or a giant clam. Them clams are big, ain’t they? And shiny. Villagers like shiny, I guess. They’re like crows, always pickin’ up shiny things.
