This Viego, I tell ya, he’s a real piece of work. He’s always causing trouble somewhere. I heard folks talking about this Viego counters thing. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but I guess folks are scared of him. They say he’s strong early on, like a young bull, full of piss and vinegar, you know? They say he got a 51.45% win rate from 0-25 minutes. That’s what I heard, anyway. Ain’t nothin’ but numbers to me.
Then, he gets weaker later, like an old mule that’s done pulled too many carts. They say he only wins 49.79% of the time between 35-40 minutes. Don’t know why, don’t really care. All I know is he’s trouble. Some folks say the best way to deal with him is to just get stronger than him. “Out-scaling,” they call it. Sounds fancy, but it just means getting bigger and badder, I reckon. Like a weed that just keeps growing, no matter what you do.

Then there’s this other thing, Viego counter picks. I don’t know what pickin’ has to do with anything, but they say there’s certain folks that are good at dealing with Viego. Now they are talking about Viego jungle counters. Like this Rammus, Rek’Sai, Warwick, Elise and Karthus. Sound like a bunch of troublemakers to me. They must be pretty tough to handle that Viego. But some other folks, like Sylas, Ambessa, and Vi. Seems like Viego can handle them just fine. Ain’t that somethin’? He picks and chooses who he messes with, I guess. Just like a bully in the schoolyard.
And some folks say if you wanna fight him, you gotta “fight him in the river.” What in tarnation does that mean? Sounds like a messy brawl to me. And they say you gotta watch out for him sneaking around, like a fox in the henhouse. They say you gotta keep an eye on where he is all the time. “Track him,” they call it. Like he’s some kind of wild animal. Maybe he is.
Some folks also say Viego Mid ain’t as good, only wins 48.7% of the time, not a good result, and pick rate is 0.2% which is very low. And those fancy folks in Emerald, whatever that is, say Pantheon is good against him. I heard about some people say Viego counters Teemo, Ambessa, Vi. Don’t know who these fellas are. Sounds like a whole lot of names to remember. Too many names for this old brain, I tell ya.
Now, some folks say Viego jungle is tough. I guess that means he’s good at hiding in the bushes and jumping out at folks. Sneaky, like I said. And they say he’s a “strong counter” to some other folks.
- Like I said, they say he is weak to Rammus.
- He is weak to Rek’Sai too.
- And that Warwick fella.
- And this Elise.
- And also Karthus.
He can beat up those other fellas, Sylas, Ambessa, and Vi, easy peasy. So he’s strong against some, weak against others. Just like everyone, I reckon. Even a tough guy like Viego has his weaknesses. You just gotta find ’em. Like finding a rotten spot on an apple. It’s there, you just gotta look for it.
They say he farms well. Like a good farmer, he can gather up his resources and get strong. But he also duels very well, like a boxer or something. So he is good at fighting one-on-one. Some folks say the best way to beat him is to just let him do his thing and try to get stronger than him later on. But I don’t know, that is a long time. They also say if you can see him coming, you can stop him. So I guess that means you gotta keep your eyes peeled, like when you’re watching for hawks circling your chicken coop. Always gotta be vigilant.
All this talk about Viego counters and winning and losing. It’s all a bit much for me. I just know he’s a troublemaker, and you gotta be careful around him. Just like you gotta be careful around a mean dog. You never know when he’s gonna bite. That’s all there is to it.
