This here Madden 24, it’s got me all riled up! I tell ya, technology these days, more trouble than it’s worth. Now, I ain’t no expert on these video game things, but I like to play a little Madden now and again. Keeps the fingers nimble, ya know? But this kicking meter glitch, oh boy, it’s a real head-scratcher. Makes me wanna throw the whole darn console out the window!
See, you’re supposed to kick the football, right? And there’s this little thing, a meter, that shows you where the ball’s gonna go. Well, in this Madden 24, sometimes that little meter, it just disappears! Poof! Gone! Like a chicken running from a fox, just vanishes into thin air. How am I supposed to kick the football if I don’t know where it’s going, that is what I’d like to know!
And it ain’t just me, neither. I was talking to my friend, and she said she was having trouble with her kicking meter too! Other folks are saying the same thing. So it’s something called a “glitch,” I hear? Sounds like some kind of gremlin got into the machine, messing things up. That’s what it sounds like. A madden 24 glitch is what it is!
Now, I tried everything. I unplugged the darn thing, plugged it back in. I yelled at it a little, maybe gave it a little whack. Nothing worked! That kicking meter glitch in Madden 24, it’s still there, hiding from me. It’s like trying to catch a greased pig at the county fair – just can’t get a grip on it!

Some folks say it happens randomly. One minute the meter’s there, the next it’s gone. I don’t care if it’s random, just make it stop! Like a leaky faucet, it just keeps dripping away, driving me crazy. And it don’t matter if you’re at home or away, or if you got that “momentum” thing they talk about. It doesn’t matter where or how, the kicking meter glitch just happens when it wants to.
I even heard some young’uns talking ’bout how they missed a whole bunch of field goals because of this Madden 24 glitch. Some are 2 for 9 they say! Imagine that! All those points, just gone, because that little meter decided to take a vacation. All those hours of work, and you just lose! And for what?
And you know the worst part? Even when the meter IS there, sometimes it feels like the ball has a mind of its own! You try to kick it straight, and it goes veering off to the left like a drunkard on a Saturday night. I swear, it’s like the game is playing tricks on me. The meter says one thing and the ball does another! Makes no sense!
I mean, is this what we’ve come to? Where you just get a glitch and you have to live with it? Is that what it is? I swear, back in my day, if something was broke, you fixed it! Or you got a new one. These days, everything is disposable.
This whole kicking meter glitch Madden 24 thing, it’s just a mess. It ain’t right. This is not right. If you are gonna make something like this, then make it so it works! It’s ruining the game for everyone. They need to fix it, and they need to fix it fast. Before I lose my mind completely. And a lot of good folks are very angry. I’m telling you they are not happy.
So, if you’re thinking about playing Madden 24, just be warned. That kicking meter, it might just disappear on ya. And if it does, well, good luck. You’re gonna need it. You’ll be yelling and screaming just like me. And nobody wants that. I hope they fix it soon. I really do. Or I’m going back to my knitting.
