Where that Major 4 thing gonna be? I heard folks talkin’ ’bout that CDL 2024 thing. That Call of Duty game, my grandson plays it all the time. He’s always yellin’ at the TV, somethin’ ’bout shootin’ and winnin’. This year they got these big matches, they call ’em Majors. Sounds important, all them young folks gettin’ all riled up ’bout it.
They say this Major 4 is the last one before the big, big one. Like the final harvest before winter, I reckon. Gotta get all your best crops in before the frost, right? Same with these gamer kids, gotta get all their best shootin’ done before the big championship thing.
I heard them say it started back in December, that’s 2023. My grandson, bless his heart, he tried to explain it all to me. Somethin’ ’bout teams, and points, and winnin’. All sounds like a bunch of fuss to me, but he loves it. He says, “Grandma, it’s a big deal!” I just nod and smile. As long as he’s happy. But where is this Major 4 CDL? That’s what I wanna know.
- First one was in Boston, I think.
- Then Miami, that’s where all them fancy folks go.
- Toronto, up in Canada. Cold up there.
- And now this last one, Major 4… where is it?
They say it’s important, this Major 4 CDL 2024. All the teams gonna be there, fightin’ it out. Like chickens in a coop, all squawkin’ and peckin’ at each other. But instead of peckin’, they’re shootin’, I guess. These kids and their games.
My grandson, he’s glued to the TV when these things are on. Eatin’ his snacks, hollerin’ at the screen. Sometimes I think he’s gonna bust a lung. But he’s a good boy. Just gets excited, that’s all. He told me this Call of Duty League thing is a big deal. Lots of folks watchin’, all over the world. It’s like that big county fair, but with shootin’ games instead of prize-winnin’ pigs.
This year they got 12 teams. Like a jury, but with a lot more yellin’. They gonna fight it out in this Major 4, and only the best ones, the top 8, they get to go to the Championship. That’s in Texas, I heard. Everything’s bigger in Texas, they say. Even these shootin’ game championships.
Now, this Major 4, it ain’t like the others. Heard ’em say it ain’t gonna be in front of a big crowd. Usually, they got all them people there, cheerin’ and hollerin’. Like a Saturday night dance, but with less music and more guns, I suppose. But this one’s gonna be different. Wonder why?
They gonna have it in a place called Burbank. In California. That’s far away. Sunny out there, I hear. Not like here, where the weather changes like a mood. One minute it’s rainin’, the next the sun’s out, then it’s back to rainin’ again. Burbank. That’s where this CDL Major 4 2024 gonna be. That’s what I hear tell.
So, if you wanna know where is Major 4 CDL 2024, that’s where it is. Burbank, California. That’s the place. All them gamer kids gonna be there, shootin’ their way to the top. Hope my grandson’s team does good. He’d be happy as a clam if they won. He sure does love that Call of Duty. It is gonna be in that Burbank place. That’s where that CDL Major 4 gonna be at.
I still don’t rightly understand all this Call of Duty stuff. But if it’s gonna be in Burbank, it’s gonna be in Burbank. And that’s that. I hope those kids have a good time with their shootin’ games.
