You wanna know about that FFXIV Nightmare drop rate, huh? Well, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it the other day. Seems like everyone’s tryin’ to get that Nightmare Whistle. That’s what you need to get that fancy Nightmare mount. FFXIV Nightmare, that’s a tough one. Not like them regular mounts. They say it’s a real pain to get.
They say that Nightmare Whistle, it’s a rare drop. Like findin’ a needle in a haystack, I reckon. You gotta beat them tough bosses, the Extreme ones from A Realm Reborn. Now, I heard some folks sayin’ the drop rate for that Nightmare Whistle is like, 5%. Or maybe it’s 2.5-3%. Who knows, really? Sounds awfully low to me. Like tryin’ to win the lottery, only worse. Regular mounts, them ponies, they say they’re easier to get now. Maybe 20% chance. But that Nightmare? Whew, that’s a whole different story.
The best thing to do? I reckon you gotta find yourself a group of folks, a dedicated party they call it. You gotta just keep beatin’ those bosses over and over again. They say Garuda and Titan are the ones to focus on. Ifrit, he takes too long, they say. Waste of time. Just keep crushin’ those other two.
- Get that Nightmare Whistle. That’s the key.
- Fight Garuda EX. That’s a mean one, but gotta do it.
- Fight Titan EX. Just as tough, maybe tougher.
- Don’t bother too much with Ifrit EX. Too slow, they say.
- Find some friends to help. Makes it go faster, maybe.
You can do what they call “unsync,” too. I don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds like it makes it easier. Maybe you don’t need as many folks for that. And if you’re lucky, you might find some folks who already got that Nightmare mount. They might help ya out, since they don’t need the whistle no more.
That Nightmare mount in FFXIV, it ain’t from no job quest, neither. There’s someone standing in front of the guild place, gives you a regular quest at level 30. That gets you a unicorn. But the Nightmare, that’s different. You gotta earn that one the hard way, through them trials and tribulations, literally!
Some folks, they just don’t have no luck with that whistle droppin’. So they gotta do somethin’ called The Great Hunt EX, like, 50 times. 50 times! Can you imagine? That’s a lot of fightin’. But that’s what you gotta do if you really want that Nightmare and the whistle just won’t show up. FFXIV and the nightmare whistle can be obtained from those.
Those Ravana weapons, I heard they drop every time. Each time you beat him. Now that’s a good deal. But they ain’t the same as that Nightmare mount, are they? Nope, that Nightmare is special. You can tell just by lookin’ at it. All dark and spooky lookin’.
This whole FFXIV Nightmare drop rate thing, it’s all about luck, I reckon. Some folks get it easy, some folks gotta work for it. Just gotta keep at it, keep fightin’, and maybe, just maybe, that whistle will finally drop for ya.
