Well, lemme tell you about this here Pokemon Go transform thing. It’s a right mess, I tell ya. This game, see, it’s got these little critters, these Pokemon, and they can change. Change into somethin’ else. It’s like magic, but not the good kind, ya know?
Now, I heard some folks sayin’ you gotta use this “candy” thing. Sounds silly to me. Candy’s for eatin’, not for changin’ little monsters. But these young’uns, they say you gotta collect this candy, and then you can make these Pokemon “evolve.” That’s what they call it, “evolve.”
I remember this one time, saw a little fella, looked like a rat. That’s what I say, a rat with wings. After feeding it some candy stuff, it turned into a big bat. It’s weird stuff, I tell you. This Pokemon Go transform, it’s not natural. Like, why would a rat want to turn into a bat?
And these Pokemon, they got all sorts of names. Complicated names. Like, there’s this one, “Ditto.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d say when you agree with someone. “Ditto, ditto!” But no, it’s a Pokemon. And this Ditto, it can change into other Pokemon. Just like that! One minute it’s a pink blob, next minute it’s somethin’ else entirely. One time, I saw it turn into a bird!
Then there’s this other one, “Mew.” Sounds like a cat, don’t it? Well, this Mew, it can change too. They say it’s rare, this Mew. Hard to find. Like findin’ a needle in a haystack, ‘cept the haystack is full of these little monsters. And you gotta catch ’em all, they say. Catch ’em all! Who’s got time for that?
Some folks, they say you gotta search for these Pokemon. They got this phone app, see. And you walk around, lookin’ at your phone, and these Pokemon, they just pop up. It’s some kind of sorcery, if you ask me. And this Pokemon Go transform, this evolution thing, it’s all in the phone. This is why I don’t like technology much, confusing.
These young’uns, they get all excited about it. “Look, Grandma, I evolved my Pokemon!” And I just nod and smile. Don’t understand it, but it makes ’em happy, I guess. They say it makes these Pokemon stronger. Stronger for what, I don’t know. They battle ’em, I think. Against other Pokemon. It’s all very strange.
And then there’s some talk about these “eggs.” Lucky eggs, they call ’em. You use these eggs, and it helps you evolve these Pokemon faster. Or somethin’ like that. It’s all very confusin’. Eggs for evolvin’? Back in my day, eggs were for breakfast!

I heard there is one called “Zorua,” or something like that, that can change too. This game, Pokemon Go, it’s just full of these changing things. They just change and change. It is hard to keep up with all these changing things. Why can’t they just stay the same?
They say you gotta have these special things to make some of them evolve, not all can evolve, see. Some you need a lot of that candy stuff, some you need other things. This Pokemon Go transform is complicated stuff. Not like in my old days, things were simpler.
I saw some information, and they were talking about “PvE” and “PvP.” I think that’s how you say it. It just sounds like gibberish. It’s all about fighting, I think. These Pokemon, they fight each other. It makes no sense to me. Why do you catch them and then make them fight? It is all a bit silly if you ask me.
And there’s this other thing, they call it “Height” and “Weight.” Like these Pokemon, they got a height and a weight. Like they’re real! It’s all just numbers on a screen, ain’t it? But they talk about it like it’s important. This one’s 0.3 m, that one’s 4 kg, they are just obsessed with these numbers. What does it even mean?
This whole Pokemon Go transform thing, it’s a mystery to me. But the young’uns, they love it. So I just let ’em have their fun. As long as they’re happy, I guess that’s all that matters. But I still think it’s a right mess. These changing Pokemon, it’s just not natural, I tell ya. Not natural at all. These kids spend so much time on this game. I don’t know what they are seeing there.
You just walk around and catch them, that’s all I know. You walk and walk, and then you get to change these Pokemon into different Pokemon. It’s like a never-ending thing. They are always after these little creatures.
