This old lady, I don’t play it myself, my eyes ain’t what they used to be. But I hear things, you know? I hear a lot from my grandson, he’s always yellin’ at the TV about these football players. He likes them fast, I tell ya. He is always say, “Nana, fastest, fastest!”
So, this Madden game, it’s got all them football fellas in it. And some of ’em, they run like the wind, I tell ya. Like a scared rabbit, even! Who’s the fastest, you ask? Well, let me tell ya, it’s that Lamar Jackson fella. That boy can move! He’s like a greased piglet, you can’t catch him! 96 speed, they say. What is speed? Fast!

Now, this Jackson boy, he ain’t just fast. He’s good at throwin’ that pigskin, too. My grandson, he says Jackson is almost the best in the whole dang game. Just behind some other fella, Mahomie or somethin’. Don’t know him. But this Jackson, he’s got all sorts of numbers. 98 for somethin’ called awareness. Sounds like he don’t bump into things. Good for him! 97 for throwin’ it short, 95 for throwin’ it medium. Lord only knows what them numbers is, but I bet they is good numbers.
Then there’s that other one. What’s his name, Allen? Josh Allen, yeah. He’s fast too. 86 speed. Not as fast as that Jackson boy, but still pretty darn fast. My grandson always yells about him too. “Go, Allen, go!” he shouts. He must be good, too. But Lamar Jackson is more good. I guess. He has 92 for something that means that he can get real fast real quick. Like a scared cat when you yell “boo!” Makes him good at runnin’ away from them big fellas tryin’ to catch him.
Fastest QB in Madden 22, that’s what they call that Jackson boy. He can run like a deer. And he can throw that ball, too. Now, there are some others. I hear them names. Watson is one, 85 speed. And Wilson, that fella’s 85 speed too. They’re fast, but not like Jackson. Not even close!
My grandson, he says there’s a whole bunch of these fellas in the game. Hundreds, maybe. And they all got these numbers. Speed, and throwin’, and catchin’, and all sorts of things. It’s a whole lot to keep track of, I tell ya. But if you want the fastest, the one that runs like the devil himself is chasin’ him, that’s Lamar Jackson. Remember that name. Lamar Jackson!
And this other fella, Hill, or somethin’. Tyreek, yeah. He ain’t a QB, but my grandson says he’s real fast, too. 98 overall. He won some big game, they call it the Super Bowl. Sounds like a big bowl of soup, I don’t know. He played for the Chiefs. Like them Indian chiefs, you know?
This Madden game, it’s somethin’ else, I tell ya. All these fellas runnin’ around, throwin’ the ball, catchin’ it. It’s all a blur to me. But I know one thing. That Lamar Jackson, he’s the fastest QB in Madden 22. He is the king. You can’t argue with that. My grandson, he says so, and he knows about these things.
And you know what? That’s all that matters. These young’uns, they love their games. And they love them fast players. So, if you wanna be the best, you gotta be fast. Like that Jackson boy. He’s the fastest, and that’s all there is to it.
Just remember, being fast is good. But you gotta be able to do other stuff, too. Like that Jackson, he can throw, too. Don’t just run around like a chicken with your head cut off! You gotta use your head, too. And these QBs, they are all good at running.
