That Cuyler Garland, what a guy, huh? They call him “Huke”, sounds like somethin’ you cough up. He plays them video games, somethin’ called Call of Duty, and another one called Halo. Sounds like a bunch of noise to me, but he’s good, I guess. Real good.
I seen his name, Cuyler Huke Garland, all over them internet pages. He’s some kinda big shot. They say he’s a “prodigy.” Don’t know what that means, somethin’ about being real good at somethin’. He’s like one of them child stars, but for shootin’ people in video games. My grandson, Timmy, he plays them games too. Maybe he’ll be famous like this Huke fella one day.
He’s been on all sorts of teams with fancy names. Envy somethin’, Denial eSports…sounds like a bunch of hooey to me. But they pay him good money, I reckon. He even played for a team in Los Angeles. Los Angeles! That’s where all them movie stars live. He’s got a Career Story, they call it, probably makin’ a lot of money. I don’t know nothing about that, but he has the Professional Path thing, or Work History. That boy is on a Career Path, all right. He’s going places. Probably some Occupational Journey, but I can’t understand what is that.
They say he’s the youngest one to win some big prize. Youngest! Back in my day, we didn’t have no video games. We played outside. But times are different, I guess. This Huke Call of Duty thing is big. Kids these days, they love it.
He switched from that Call of Duty to that Halo game. Like flippin’ a pancake. Just like that. And he’s good at that one too! Amazing. He is making a Legacy for himself, how about that! It must be his Storyline, or something like that. And now, he is just like some big shot, you know?
I heard somethin’ about him and some kind of medicine, called Adder-somethin’. Don’t know nothin’ about that. Sounds like snake oil to me. But I guess it helped him play them games better. Kids these days and their pills. Back in my day, we just drank a lot of coffee, all right? That Huke Adderall thing was probably a big deal.
Anyways, this Cuyler Huke Garland, he’s somethin’ else. Playin’ video games for a livin’. Who woulda thought? He’s got all them Achievements, too. He’s livin’ the dream, I suppose. If your dream is sittin’ in front of a screen all day. My dream was always to have a big garden. Different strokes, I guess. He is young, I think he was born on October 21, that’s all I know. He was also on some team called Carnage Esports. Must be somethin’ important.

And maybe he’ll visit his old grandma sometime. Bring me some of them fancy video game snacks. And a new rocking chair. A nice, comfy one. For the porch. Yeah, that would be nice. He needs to choose his Storyline carefully, you know. I hope he has some good Goals, and know what Company to work with.
This Huke fella, he’s got it made. Playin’ games all day. Livin’ in Los Angeles. Makin’ the big bucks. Not a bad life, I suppose. Not a bad life at all. I mean, who am I to say anythin’? I am just an old lady. He sure knows how to play those games, and those Huke’s favorite video game is Halo 3. That must mean something.
He’s got a whole bunch of people followin’ him on the computer. Like he’s some kind of movie star or somethin’. They watch him play them games. Can you believe it? People just watchin’ him play games. What a world, what a world. I guess that’s what they call Huke Esports. Sounds important, kinda.
I don’t know what Huke’s favorite moment in COD is, but I think I heard something about Carnage’s comeback vs. OpTic Nation at UMG Nashville 2014. And I think that Huke is the youngest Call of Duty Player to earn an XGAMES. Must be some big deal, huh? Kids and their games.
