Yo, listen up, you young’uns! Today, I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this here critter in that Pokemon Go game, the one called Nidoking. It’s a big, strong-lookin’ fella, that’s for sure. Now, I ain’t no expert on these digital critters, but I heard a thing or two from my grandkids. They’re always on their phones, clickin’ and tappin’ away, catchin’ these Pokemon things.
This Nidoking, they say it’s a Poison and Ground type. Sounds kinda dirty to me, like it’s been rollin’ around in the mud. You know, like that old pig we used to have, always covered in muck. But hey, that’s just how it is, I reckon. Each critter got its own way, just like us folks. Some of us like to stay clean, some of us don’t mind a little dirt. It is what it is. So this Nidoking, it’s like that. It’s strong, I heard. That is what these young’uns always say.

They say this Nidoking, it’s strong, it’s tough, but it ain’t invincible. Nothin’ is, right? Even the strongest bull can be brought down by a little fly if it gets in the right spot. This Nidoking, it’s weak to Water. Makes sense, water washes away dirt and poison, right? So if you’re tryin’ to catch this Nidoking, maybe try somethin’ with water. Like that Squirtle thing, or that big blue one, what’s it called… Blastoise? Yeah, somethin’ like that.
And it’s also weak to more Ground type Pokemon, which is also weird to me. Like fightin’ fire with fire, ain’t it? But I don’t understand all the rules. This game is hard. I don’t think I ever will understand these things. But I’m sure my grandkids will tell me more about it.
They also told me this Nidoking is weak to Ice type. Now that makes sense too. Ice is cold, freezes things up. Probably makes that Nidoking all stiff and slow. Like when you get caught in the rain and your joints start to ache. You just wanna curl up by the fire and warm up. I bet Nidoking feels the same way when it’s up against one of them Ice types. Poor thing. Still, it’s all part of the game, I suppose.
This Nidoking can get real strong, they say. They talk about “CP” and “levels”. I don’t rightly understand all that, but it sounds like it can get pretty powerful. Up to somethin’ called 2,902 CP at level 50. That’s a big number. This game has lots of numbers. It is a little confusing to me. I like things simple. Like a good pie, you know? Simple is best. But that’s just me. I’m just an old lady, what do I know about these fancy games?
- Nidoking
- Poison
- Ground
- Water
- Ice
- Pokemon Go
- 2902 CP
So, Nidoking is good against Grass type, they say. Makes sense, I guess. Poison would kill plants, right? And ground, well, that’s where plants grow, so maybe it can stomp ’em out or somethin’. I don’t know for sure. Just what I heard from them kids. But it also don’t do much against other types. I don’t remember what they said, but there are so many! It’s hard to remember. They all look the same to me.
They say there’s another one, Nidoqueen, that’s kinda like this Nidoking. But better, in some ways? It’s all very confusing. Like I said, it’s like tryin’ to keep track of all the chickens in the coop. They all look the same after a while. So many Pokemon out there, with all their different types and powers. How’s a person supposed to keep track of it all? These kids today, they have it too easy.
But this Nidoking, even if it ain’t the best, it’s still somethin’, right? It’s big and tough lookin’. Maybe not the strongest, but still somethin’. It’s like that old mule we had. Wasn’t the fastest, wasn’t the strongest, but it was steady. Got the job done. Maybe this Nidoking is like that. Gets the job done, even if it ain’t the flashiest one out there.
In this game, it’s all about attackin’ and defendin’. And this Nidoking, well, it ain’t the best at either, from what I hear. Its attack ain’t that great, and it’s easy to hurt on defense. It’s got a move called Earth Power, but that ain’t much, apparently. It’s like havin’ a big dog that barks loud but doesn’t bite. Looks scary, but ain’t really much of a threat. This game sounds really mean. Poor Nidoking.
So, that’s what I know about this Nidoking in that Pokemon Go game. It’s a Poison and Ground type, strong against Grass, weak to Water, Ground, and Ice. It can get pretty strong, but it ain’t the best out there. But hey, it’s still a Pokemon, right? And that’s gotta count for somethin’. These kids sure do love ’em. They’re always talkin’ about ’em, showin’ me pictures, tryin’ to explain the game to me. It’s nice to see ’em so excited about somethin’. Even if I don’t understand it all. I’m happy that they are happy. This Nidoking, well, it’s just another one of them things that makes ’em happy, I guess. And that’s all that really matters, ain’t it?
