Well, let me tell ya, this “rainbow rare professor’s research” thing, sounds mighty fancy, don’t it? I ain’t no professor, that’s for sure, but I can tell ya a thing or two about things being rare and worth somethin’. Like them old coins my husband used to collect, shiny and all, some of ’em were real rare, he said. This “rainbow rare” thing, I reckon it’s somethin’ like that.
Now, from what I gather, these “Professor’s Research” cards, they got somethin’ to do with them Pokemon things. My grandkids, they’re always yappin’ about ’em. Pika-this and Char-that, I can’t keep up. Seems like these cards are part of a game, and some are rarer than a hen’s teeth. And when somethin’s rare, well, folks are willin’ to pay a pretty penny for it, ain’t they?

I heard tell there’s all sorts of Professor’s Research cards. Some are just plain, nothin’ special. But then there’s these “secret rare” ones, and that “rainbow rare” kind must be even better than that. Like them fancy quilts my neighbor makes, some patterns are just plain ol’ squares, but then she makes them with all sorts of colors and shiny threads, those are the ones everyone wants. Same with these cards, I guess.
- Professor Willow, that’s one name I keep hearin’. Seems like he’s a big deal in this Pokemon world. They even made a card with him on it, and I bet that rainbow rare version of him is worth a whole heap of money.
- And then there’s cards from Pokemon Go. That’s the one where them kids are always walkin’ around lookin’ at their phones, right? They’re catchin’ them Pokemons in the real world, or so they say. There’s special Professor’s Research cards for that too, and if you got a rainbow rare one, well, you’re sittin’ pretty.
- Don’t forget about them Pokemon Sword and Shield cards neither. My grandson, little Timmy, he’s always tradin’ them with his friends. He showed me one once, all shiny and glittery. Wasn’t no rainbow rare, though, or he woulda been shoutin’ it from the rooftops, I reckon.
Them folks who sell these cards, they got a whole system for figurin’ out how much they’re worth. They look at how much they sold for in the past, and then they use some fancy computin’ thing to come up with a price. It’s all Greek to me, but I understand the gist of it. Rare stuff costs more, simple as that.
These cards, they wasn’t just made yesterday. They been comin’ out for a while now. Some of ’em was released back in 2021, and they keep makin’ new ones. So, if you’re lookin’ for a rainbow rare Professor’s Research card, you gotta know which set it comes from, and when it was made. It’s like lookin’ for an old recipe in my cookbook, gotta know which year I wrote it down, or I’ll be flippin’ pages ’til the cows come home.
“Rainbow rare professor’s research”, it sounds like somethin’ important, somethin’ special. Like when the preacher uses them big words in his sermon, you know it’s gotta be somethin’ deep. But at the end of the day, it’s just a card, ain’t it? A piece of cardboard with a picture on it. But for them folks who collect ’em, it’s more than that. It’s a treasure, a piece of history, somethin’ to show off to their friends.
And that “digging deep” thing, the professor talkin’ about learnin’. Well, I reckon that applies to these cards too. If you wanna find a rainbow rare, you gotta dig deep, search high and low, and maybe spend a little money too. It ain’t gonna just fall into your lap. Just like findin’ a good patch of berries in the woods, you gotta put in the effort if you want the reward.
So, there you have it, my two cents on this rainbow rare professor’s research thing. It’s fancy, it’s rare, and it’s worth somethin’ to somebody. Me, I’d rather have a good cup of coffee and a piece of pie, but to each their own, I always say. Just remember, if you find one of them rainbow rare cards, hold onto it tight, ’cause it might just be worth more than you think.
And if you are thinkin’ ‘bout sellin’ it, don’t let nobody cheat ya. Get a fair price for it. Folks are always tryin’ to take advantage, you know? Just like when that city slicker tried to buy my husband’s old truck for a song. We showed him, we did. So, you be smart, and you hold your ground.
