Well now, if you’re lookin’ to craft some amulets in Diablo 2: Resurrected, I can tell ya, it ain’t as hard as it sounds, but you do gotta know a thing or two about what you’re doin’. You gotta mix and match a few ingredients, like runes, gems, jewels, and those base amulets. Some folks make it sound real complicated, but trust me, once you get the hang of it, you’ll be makin’ amulets left and right like it’s nobody’s business.
First things first, y’all gotta be at least level 90 to start craftin’ them amulets proper. You don’t have to wait till you’re level 93, like some people say. Nah, you can start at level 90 if you’re doin’ it right. See, if you’re makin’ amulets in a self-made game, you can use the amulets from TZ (whatever that is), and just like that, you’re ready to get goin’. The formula’s simple: you take 90 divided by 2 and add 92 divided by 2, which gets you 91, which is higher than 90, so you’re good to start makin’ amulets at level 90.

Now, to actually craft one, you’re gonna need a few things. First off, you need a magic amulet. You can get these amulets from bosses or regular drops in the game. I always tell folks, don’t go for just any old amulet, you want one that’s got some good stats on it. Then, you need a ral rune, which you’ll find by runnin’ around, doin’ your thing in the game. Next up is a perfect gem—make sure it’s a perfect amethyst or one of them other gems that’ll work. Finally, you need a jewel. The jewel can be any ol’ jewel, but it has to be a magic one. You put all that into the Horadric Cube, give it a little shake, and out pops your crafted amulet. Simple as that!
But hold up, don’t get too excited. You gotta keep an eye on the item level of your amulet. See, the item level is important ’cause it determines what kind of properties your amulet can have. If your amulet’s level ain’t high enough, you won’t be able to craft some of the good stuff, like those amulets that give you a +2 boost to your skills. That’s a nice little bonus, let me tell ya. You gotta be sure your amulet’s item level is at least 88, or better yet, 93 if you wanna really get those +2 skill bonuses.
If you’re not sure about the item level, don’t worry too much. Just look for amulets that drop from big bad bosses like Hell Diablo, Nihlathak, and Baal. Those ones are usually high enough to get the job done, and they’ll drop from bosses in Act 5 or from Hell, where the tough monsters live. And don’t forget, the level of your character matters too! Make sure your character’s high enough to craft what you need. If you ain’t level 93 yet, you can still gamble a little with the amulets you’ve got and hope for a good roll, but you’re gonna have a better chance if you’ve reached that 93 mark.
Once you’ve crafted your amulet, don’t think it’s the same as it was before. Nope! When you craft that item, it loses all its original prefixes and suffixes, so it’s a brand new piece of jewelry. That means you can get some real good stats on it, depending on the luck of the roll. It might even have some resistances, magic find, or faster cast rate—stuff like that, which is just what you need when you’re goin’ into tough areas like Hell or fighting them big bosses.
If you’re new to crafting, don’t let all the details overwhelm you. Just focus on gettin’ the right items and the right level, and you’ll be makin’ some nice amulets in no time. There’s a lot of guides out there if you wanna get real deep into the math and the mechanics, but all you really gotta do is find the right ingredients, throw ‘em in the cube, and see what you get. Just don’t forget to keep those amulet item levels in check, and you’ll be good to go!
And don’t be afraid to experiment with different runes and jewels. The more you craft, the better you’ll get at it, and soon enough, you’ll be makin’ amulets that’ll give you all the boosts you need to take down them tough bosses in the game. Happy crafting, and don’t forget to have fun while you’re at it!
