Well now, listen up, you young ones! If you don’t know about this FNCS 2024 business, you’re missin’ out. So, let me tell ya, this FNCS, that’s the Fortnite Championship Series for those who ain’t too familiar with the lingo, has been quite a big deal. They had themselves a big ol’ Global Championship, and lemme tell ya, it was somethin’ else!
The Global Championship took place on the 7th and 8th of September 2024, over two whole days. Yup, two days of intense competition where all them young guns, and some older ones too, tried to prove who’s the best at Fortnite. There was a total of 12 games played, six games each day. They weren’t just playin’ for fun neither. Oh no, they had points and eliminations on the line. The scoring was done by placement and eliminations, and them points got a nice 1.5x multiplier to make it extra spicy. Folks were workin’ hard, and you best believe they weren’t takin’ it easy.

Now, I don’t know much about video games myself, but even I could tell that this FNCS thing ain’t no walk in the park. It’s like a big ol’ tournament where folks from all over the world come together to show who’s the top dog. And this year, in 2024, the FNCS Global Championship was held at the Dickies Arena, right there in Fort Worth, Texas. You know, real fancy place, lots of folks watchin’ on, and they had themselves a big ol’ prize pool of $7,675,000. Now, that’s a lot of money, ain’t it?
The folks who made it to the Global Championship were the top Duos from six different regions. These folks had to fight hard, play tough, and make their way through the qualifiers just to get a shot at that big prize. They showed off their skills, won points, and some of ’em even made it to the very top. Now, that takes real talent, I reckon!
And you know what? There was a lot of excitement in the air, especially when the final results came in. After them long two days of playin’, it was Peterbot and Pollo who came out on top. Yup, them two won the whole dang thing! They were the big winners of the 2024 Fortnite FNCS Global Championship, walkin’ away with a whopping $2 million in prize money. Can you imagine? Two million dollars! That’s enough to make anyone’s head spin. They took the crown, and now they’re the proud owners of the coveted Axe of Champions. Not bad for a couple of young fellas, huh?
Now, let’s talk a bit about them Major tournaments that happened before the big global showdown. There were three Major events throughout the 2024 season, and them folks who did well in those had a better chance of making it to the Global Championship. Every time someone scored high or got themselves a win in one of them Majors, they were one step closer to takin’ home the whole kit and caboodle. Ain’t no easy task, that’s for sure!
But let me tell ya, it’s not just about the money. No, no. It’s about the glory, the fame, and the title of being the best Fortnite player in the whole wide world. And I reckon, for Peterbot and Pollo, they’ve got that now. They went through the wringer, played their hearts out, and came out as champions. There’s a lot of young folks out there lookin’ up to ’em now, you can bet on that!
Now, I’m sure some of you might be wonderin’ what the future holds for this FNCS thing. Will there be another Global Championship next year? What new players are gonna rise up and take the crown? Well, I don’t know for sure, but one thing’s for certain: the FNCS is just gettin’ started. If you wanna get in on the action, it might be a good idea to start practicin’ now. Ain’t no way you’re gonna win if you don’t put in the time and effort.
And for all you folks who missed out on the 2024 FNCS Global Championship, don’t fret none. You can always catch the next one, or maybe tune in for the rest of the Majors comin’ up. Who knows, maybe next time it’ll be your turn to shine!
