Well, now, if you liked V Rising, ya know, that game where ya play as a vampire, running ’round gatherin’ resources and fightin’ off all them critters, you might be wonderin’ what other games are like it. Now, I gotta tell ya, there ain’t many that are exactly like it, but there sure are some good ones that give ya that same kinda feelin’ of survival and fightin’ off all sorts of danger. So let me tell ya ’bout a few of ’em, and maybe one will catch yer fancy!
1. Valheim

If you like V Rising, you’ll probably fancy Valheim. It’s got a bit of that survival vibe to it, but it’s more on the Norse mythology side. You still gotta build stuff and fight big ol’ bosses, just like in V Rising. The main thing is, in Valheim, you’re not a vampire—you’re more like a Viking warrior! You gather resources, craft yer weapons, and build yer base. But don’t think it’s all easy! You’ll be workin’ hard to survive in this game, just like in V Rising, though it’s got a bit slower pace, if ya ask me. It’s got that same kind of exploring and crafting but with a different twist.
2. Conan Exiles
Now, this one’s a bit rougher. If ya think V Rising’s combat gets bloody, wait ‘til ya try Conan Exiles. In this one, you’re survivin’ in a harsh world full of danger. You’ll need to craft tools, build yer own home, and fight off other players or creatures. It’s set in a harsh world, and you gotta be tough if you wanna survive. Think of it as a survival game with some real mean folk tryin’ to take what’s yours. You get to play as a barbarian, so it’s a different kinda vibe from a vampire, but survival mechanics? Very much the same.
3. The Forest
If you wanna feel like you’re all alone in the woods, surrounded by creepy cannibals, then The Forest might be up yer alley. It’s a survival game where you gotta build shelters, craft weapons, and fight off all sorts of dangers. It’s not a vampire game, but it has that feel of needing to survive and make it through each day. Plus, the combat gets real intense, and that’ll remind ya a lot of V Rising’s bloody battles. You ain’t gonna be fightin’ vampires, but trust me, the creatures in The Forest are just as scary!
4. 7 Days to Die
Now, if you like the idea of buildin’ a fort, collectin’ supplies, and fightin’ off waves of enemies, then 7 Days to Die is another one to think on. It’s all about surviving in a world overrun by zombies, and each day is a struggle to stay alive. It’s got crafting, building, and even some good ol’ fashioned zombie shootin’. It ain’t got the vampire thing goin’ on, but the whole survival mechanic is mighty similar to V Rising, especially when it comes to building up yer base and gettin’ ready for a big ol’ fight.
5. BloodRayne
Now, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ with a vampire twist, then BloodRayne might be worth a look. It’s more action-packed than V Rising, but the main thing is, you’re still playin’ as a vampire, and that gives ya the thrill of takin’ down enemies in a bloody mess. The combat in BloodRayne is a lot more fast-paced, and while it’s not exactly the same kind of survival game, it’ll still scratch that vampire itch. Just don’t expect the same buildin’ and survival mechanics, cause it’s more about hackin’ through enemies than it is about survivin’ in the wilderness.
6. Dark and Light

Then there’s Dark and Light, which mixes fantasy elements with survival mechanics. You’ll find dragons, magic, and a whole lotta buildin’ and fightin’. It’s got that same survival spirit where ya gotta gather resources, craft items, and defend yer base from all sorts of dangers. It ain’t got vampires in it, but it sure has enough mythical creatures to make ya feel right at home if you loved the fantasy aspect of V Rising.
7. Dying Light
Finally, if you like a game that’s got some real action and parkour, Dying Light might do the trick. It’s a bit like BloodRayne, but with more focus on runnin’ around and survivin’ in a zombie world. You’ll still be craftin’ weapons and fightin’ to stay alive, just like V Rising, but this one’s got a lot more focus on movement and exploration. If you like that sense of danger around every corner, Dying Light will keep you on yer toes!
So, there ya go, folks! These games might not all be about vampires, but they all got that same survival feel to ’em. Whether you like buildin’, craftin’, fightin’, or explorin’, there’s somethin’ here for everyone who loved V Rising. So go ahead and try one of ’em out, and maybe you’ll find yer next favorite game!
