With a good Level 40 Primal Groudon, you can take that fella down all by yourself, and I’m talkin’ no dodgin’ and nothin’. That’s what I did once, and I finished it off in time to get 175 Mega Energy for my trouble. So, if ya got the right Pokémon and the right weather, you can handle it just fine.
As for Mega Houndoom’s abilities, well, he’s not too shabby in the fightin’ department. He’s strong, especially when it comes to Dark-type moves, but he ain’t the absolute strongest. Now, Mega Tyranitar and Mega Absol, they’re tougher when it comes to damage output, so if you need to hit hard, you might wanna think about them instead. But still, Mega Houndoom can hold his own in most situations, especially if you use him smart.
Here’s a little heads up on the types that Mega Houndoom struggles with: Fighting and Ground. So, if you’re up against a Pokémon with one of those types, ya better make sure you got a backup plan. It can take a real good hit from ’em if ya ain’t careful. But, when it comes to Fire-type moves, he’s one of the top dogs. Ya just gotta watch out for those type weaknesses.
When you’re battlin’ with Mega Houndoom, you gotta pay attention to his moves. His fast moves, like Snarl, are real good for buildin’ up energy fast, while his charged moves, like Foul Play and Fire Blast, can deal a good amount of damage. Fire Blast’s one of the stronger moves in his kit, but it takes a little more time to charge up. Still, if you can get it off, it’s worth the wait.
And let me tell ya, if you’re gonna be usin’ Mega Houndoom in Pokémon GO raids, you gotta know the right counters to use against him. If you’re up against a Mega Houndoom raid, Pokémon like Primal Groudon and Kyogre are real good at takin’ ’em down. Both of ‘em pack a punch, and if you got ’em in their Primal forms, well, they’ll make short work of that dark dog. Just be ready for a good fight, ’cause Mega Houndoom don’t go down easy.
Now, if ya want to know the best stats for Mega Houndoom in the different leagues, here’s a little info for ya. In the Great League, you want a Houndoom with 0 Attack, 14 Defense, and 12 Stamina. For the Ultra League, a good one would have 1 Attack, 15 Defense, and 15 Stamina. That’ll get you the best CP for each league, and help ya make the most outta your Mega Houndoom when you’re up against other trainers.
All in all, Mega Houndoom’s a mighty fine addition to your Pokémon team, whether you’re doin’ raids or just battlin’ other folks. He ain’t perfect, but he sure knows how to hold his own, and with the right strategy, he can be a real powerhouse. So get yourself some Mega Energy, train up that Houndoom, and take it into battle with confidence. Ya never know what kind of trouble you’ll get into, but with Mega Houndoom on your side, you’re gonna be ready for anything!
