Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Cod Vortex Event” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I figured I’d share my experience, from start to finish, in case anyone else is diving in.
First Steps: Figuring Out What It Was
Initially, I was totally clueless. I saw the event pop up, and I was like, “Cod Vortex? What’s that?” So, my first step was just jumping into some matches. I started by playing some regular multiplayer, you know, just to get a feel for things.

The Grind Begins: Collecting Souls
Then I realized, “Oh, I gotta collect these ‘souls’.” It wasn’t super clear at first. I noticed that after some kills, these little things would drop, and I’d have to run over them. It was kinda slow at first, playing regular modes. I felt like it would take forever.
The Zombie Revelation: Faster Soul Farming
Then, a buddy of mine told me, “Dude, you gotta play Zombies!” He said it was way faster for collecting souls. So, I switched over to Zombies mode, and man, was he right! The souls were dropping like crazy. We teamed up, and it became so much easier to rack them up.
- Played some regular multiplayer-slow soul progress.
- Teammate suggested to change to Zombie mode.
- Changed to Zombies mode-significantly faster soul collection.
- Much easier with a teammate.
Unlocking Stuff: The Rewards
As I collected more and more souls, I started unlocking the rewards. I think it can unlock some camo and moving *’s pretty cool to see the progress and get new stuff. That’s really what kept me going, to be honest. It is the motivation of process.
My Final Thoughts: Worth the Effort?
So, after all that grinding, was it worth it? I’d say yeah, mostly. It was definitely a bit of a time sink, but I enjoyed playing with my friend, and some of the rewards are pretty neat. If you’re on the fence, I’d say give it a shot, especially if you can get a friend to play Zombies with *’s more fun with friends.
That’s my experience with the Cod Vortex Event. Hope this helps somebody!
