Okay, so I’ve been playing Pokémon Go for a while now, and I always get hyped for new Pokémon releases. When I heard Galarian Darmanitan was coming, I knew I had to get my hands on one. Here’s how it went down.
The Hunt Begins
First, I made sure I had enough storage space on my phone. I hate when I’m out hunting and get that dreaded “storage full” message. You know how frustrating that is, right? I cleared out some old photos and videos to be safe.

Then, I stocked up on Poké Balls. Seriously, you can never have too many. I went to a bunch of PokéStops and spun them until my bag was overflowing. I even bought some extra Ultra Balls from the shop, just in case. Gotta be prepared, you know?
The Waiting Game
I knew Galarian Darumaka, the pre-evolution, was going to be appearing in 7km eggs. So, I started walking. And walking. And walking. I put a bunch of eggs in incubators and just kept moving. My legs were definitely feeling it, but hey, gotta hatch those eggs!
Getting Frustrated.
I walk a lot, but after walk 5 eggs, still can not find Galarian Darumaka.
Then I checked the in-game news and saw that Galarian Darumaka could be rarely from daily incense.
So I put daily incense and kept walking.
Finally!
After 2 more days, one finally popped up on my screen!. I almost screamed. I carefully selected a Golden Razz Berry and threw an Ultra Ball. Boom! Got it! I was so relieved.
Evolving Time
Now, to evolve it into Galarian Darmanitan, I needed 50 Darumaka Candy. Thankfully, with some work and Pinap Berries, I managed to get enough. I hit that evolve button and watched the magic happen. Finally, my very own Galarian Darmanitan! It was totally worth the effort.
This is just getting more harder to catch these rare Pokemons!
