Alright, so I wanted to make a “wz tier list” and I figured, why not share my whole process? It’s kinda messy, but that’s how these things go, right?
Getting Started
First, I needed a place to start. I just grabbed a piece of paper – yeah, old school, I know – and a pen. I started brainstorming all the stuff I wanted to include. Weapons, perks, equipment…you name it, I jotted it down. It was a total mess at first, just random words all over the page.

Organizing the Chaos
Then came the slightly less chaotic part. I took that messy list and started grouping things. Like, I put all the assault rifles together, all the SMGs together, and so on. This helped me see what I was working with and get a feel for how many tiers I might need.
- Assault Rifles
- SMGs
- LMGs
- Sniper Rifles
…etc
The Ranking Begins
Now for the actual ranking! This is where it got subjective. I started with the stuff I use most often. I have my go-to weapons, so I placed those in the “S” tier (the best, obviously). Then I thought about weapons I’m decent with, but don’t use as much – those went into “A”.
It got trickier from there. Some weapons, I just never use. Either I’m terrible with them, or they just don’t fit my playstyle. Those went straight to “D” or even “F”. Then there were the weapons that were kinda “meh” – not terrible, but not great either. Those filled up the “B” and “C” tiers.
The Fiddly Bits
After the initial ranking, I spent a ton of time just…fiddling. I’d move a weapon up a tier, then down a tier, then back up again. I kept second-guessing myself. I even jumped into a few games just to test out some weapons I was unsure about. It was a lot of back and forth.
Perks and Equipment
I did the same basic process for perks and equipment. Group them, rank them based on my experience and preferences, then fiddle with them until I was (mostly) satisfied. It’s all about personal preference, right? What works for me might not work for someone else, so this is very my style.
Final Touches (For Now…)
Finally, I typed everything up. I used to used google sheets, but it got slow as I added images, so I copied it all into notion. It’s still a work in progress, really. I’m sure I’ll change my mind about some of these rankings next week. But that’s the fun of it, right? It’s all about experimenting and finding what works best.
That’s my journey,It’s messy, it’s personal, and it’s probably going to change. But hey, that’s gaming!
