Okay, so I wanted to get into these Madden 24 Platinum cards, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. I’m not the most hardcore Madden player, but I like to build a decent team, and those Platinum cards looked pretty sweet.
Getting Started
First thing I did was, you know, actually boot up the game. I hopped into Ultimate Team – that’s where all the card action happens. I’d played a bit before, so I had some coins and a few players, but nothing amazing.

The Grind Begins
I quickly realized that if I wanted a Platinum card, I needed coins. Lots of them. So, I started hitting the Challenges. These are basically like mini-games or scenarios you play to earn rewards. Some were easy, some were…not so easy. I spent a good few hours just grinding through these, trying to rack up as many coins as possible.
- Solo Battles: I played some Solo Battles, too. These are games against AI-controlled teams, and the better you do, the better the rewards. The competition difficulty I could adjust to get more rewards, and that really helps.
- Sets: Another option I tried, Sets, you trade in a bunch of lower-value cards for a better one, and it might include a platinum card, but It seemed way too complicated for now, so I moved on.
The Auction House
After a while, I had a decent chunk of coins. So I headed to the Auction House. This is where players buy and sell cards from each other. I started searching for Platinum cards, just to see what the prices were like. Man, some of them were expensive! I definitely didn’t have enough for the top-tier guys.
I spent some time browsing, trying to find a good deal. I wasn’t really looking for a specific player, just a solid Platinum card that wouldn’t break the bank. I saw a few that looked okay, but I was hesitant to pull the trigger.
The “Aha!” Moment
Then, I had a bit of a realization. Instead of buying a Platinum card directly, maybe I could get one through a pack. It’s a bit of a gamble, because you don’t know what you’re going to get, but it could be cheaper than buying a specific card on the Auction House.
I found a pack that had a chance of containing a Platinum player. I figured, “Why not?” and bought it with my hard-earned coins.
The Result
I opened the pack… and… no Platinum card. Bummer! But, I did get a few other decent players that I could either use in my team or sell for more coins. So, it wasn’t a total loss.
So I haven’t got the cards yet! But I’m going to keep at it. I might try a few more packs, or maybe I’ll just keep grinding and save up enough coins to buy a Platinum card directly. I’m determined to grab my first one eventually!
