Alright, guys, let’s talk about snagging those elusive 10km eggs in Pokemon Go. I’ve been playing this game for a while, and I’ve hatched my fair share of these bad boys, so here’s my personal experience on how I usually get them.
My Go-To Method for 10km Eggs
First things first, I gotta get myself moving. 10km eggs aren’t gonna just magically appear in my inventory, you know? I need to get out there and hit the streets.

So, I start by planning a route. I usually pick a place with a good cluster of Pokestops, like a park or a downtown area. More Pokestops mean more chances, right?
Once I’m on location, I make sure my game is open and my character is ready to roll. Then I just walk, walk, walk. And every time I approach a Pokestop, I tap on it.
- I made sure that the Pokestop icon became available.
- I tap the central disc.
- I spin it.
That spinning part is key. You gotta give that disc a good whirl to get the items, and hopefully, a 10km egg will pop out.
Honestly, it’s pretty much a numbers game. The more Pokestops I spin, the better my odds are. I’ve noticed that I don’t always get a 10km egg, sometimes it’s a 2km or a 5km, or even just some potions and Pokeballs. But I just keep at it, keep spinning, and eventually, boom! There it is, that glorious 10km egg.
It might take a few tries, a few walks, even a few days. But for me, this is the way I’ve always gotten 10km eggs. Just keep moving and don’t get discouraged if you don’t get the egg in every spin.
And of course, once I got the egg, it’s time to start walking! Gotta put in those kilometers to see what awesome Pokemon will hatch.
