Hey folks, let me tell ya all ‘bout this new MLB 24 roster update, real simple like so you all can catch on easy. Now, ya know how they change up these baseball rosters? Ain’t nothin’ complicated. It’s just they keep up with who’s movin’ where, and who’s pitchin’ or battin’ different than they was last week. These changes ain’t random; every two weeks, usually on a Friday afternoon, they go ‘n switch things up based on how players been performin’ lately.
Let me get into some of the changes for ya, and make sure ya know who’s in, who’s out, an’ where everybody’s sittin’ now. This time, we got a few of ‘em right here:

- Craig Kimbrel — he’s now sittin’ as RP over on the Free Agents list. Guess he’s lookin’ for a spot somewhere else now.
- Oneil Cruz — now he’s a CF for the Pirates. So that’s a big move for Pittsburgh, makin’ him the one to watch out in the field.
- Dane Myers — he went over to the Marlins as LF. Guess they’re shiftin’ folks all around, tryin’ to get things right.
- Seranthony Domínguez — now listed as CP. Keepin’ an eye on him since he’s bound to be important in closin’ those games.
Then ya got folks like Tommy Edman, who’s takin’ CF for the Cardinals now. More changes down South too; Reynaldo López is headin’ into the starting pitcher role with the Braves. Then, there’s Griffin Jax, he’s put up as CP for the Twins, while Joel Payamps is now the closer for the Brewers. All in all, lotta changes, so if yer followin’ any of these teams, you might see some shifts in the game.
Now, why do they keep fiddlin’ with these rosters, ya ask? Well, that’s how MLB The Show 24 keeps its players hooked in Diamond Dynasty. The way they change up these teams and player ratings is supposed to help build a kinda “dream team” for fans, lettin’ folks see their favorite players grow, improve, or move around as they play through the season.
Every two weeks, they do this big ol’ update where ratings get adjusted. If somebody’s hittin’ strong or pitchin’ like a pro, his stats will show it in the game. Like, take that big name Shohei Ohtani — if he’s swingin’ with a .300 average, they’ll boost up his power stats for folks playin’ him in the game.
So next time ya log in, you’ll see these updates on Friday ‘round 3 p.m. ET. Whether yer playin’ on Diamond Dynasty or just checkin’ out the Live Series ratings, keep an eye on them shifts. Ya gotta stay on top of it, ‘cause it’s like the weather – changin’ all the time!
And there ya go! Them’s the big moves in MLB 24 roster update this round. If ya keep track of it, you’ll get a feel for where the game’s goin’. This ain’t the last time we’re seein’ these roster changes, no sir! In a couple more weeks, they’ll be back, and there might be some more shufflin’ goin’ on. So keep them eyes peeled, and we’ll see who moves up next time.
