Okay, so today I decided to get serious about evolving my Machoke in Pokemon Go. I’ve had this guy for a while, and it was finally time to get that Machamp!
The Prep Work
First things first, I checked my candy situation. You need 100 Machop candies to evolve Machoke, and luckily, I had plenty. I’ve been catching those fighting types whenever I see them, and Pinap Berries really helped boost my candy count.
I also looked up best attacking move set and found some useful information, I’m gonna check this Machamp after evolving to make sure he got the best skills.
The Evolution
With enough candies in my bag, I went to my Pokemon storage and selected my best Machoke. I’m talking about the one with the highest CP and the best appraisal from my team leader. This is going to be my fighting powerhouse, so I wanted to make sure I was evolving the right one.
I tapped on that “Evolve” button, and watched the animation. It’s always satisfying to see your Pokemon grow stronger! And there it was, my brand new Machamp, looking all buff and ready to battle.
The Aftermath
I checked the moveset. I want to make sure he’s got the best possible attacks for raids and gym battles.
And done. It is my first Machamp.
