Alright, so I wanted to get into this whole “capes” thing in V Rising. I’d seen some players rocking them and thought, “Yeah, I need one of those.” So I started digging around to figure out how to actually get my hands on a cape.
Figuring Out the Basics
First thing I did was try to understand what capes even do. Turns out, they’re not just for looks. They actually give you some pretty sweet bonuses, like boosting your resistances and stuff. Okay, I’m definitely in.

The Crafting Grind
Next, I needed to figure out how to craft these capes. I found out you need a crafting station called the Loom. I poked around my castle, and yep, I didn’t have one. So, off I went to gather the resources to build it. I think it needed wood, plant fiber, and something else… can’t quite remember. Anyway, I smashed some trees, yanked some plants, and finally got the Loom built.
With the Loom in place, I needed materials specifically for capes. Turns out, you need a heck of a lot of Cloth. To make Cloth, you need a ton of Plant Fibre and Leather. Back to farming! I spent a good chunk of time just running around, whacking plants and killing creatures for their hides. It felt like forever, but I eventually had enough to start making Cloth.
Tailoring the Cape
Finally, with the Cloth ready, I went back to the Loom and started crafting my first cape. I chose a basic one to start, figuring I could always upgrade later. I think I just had to click on the recipe and wait a bit. And boom, there it was, my very own cape! I equipped it right away and felt pretty awesome, I must say.
Upgrading and Experimenting
Later on, I learned you can get better capes with even better stats. Some require special materials you get from killing bosses, so that’s my next goal. I’m still working on taking down some of those tougher V Blood carriers to get the really fancy cape recipes. It’s a work in progress, but that’s part of the fun, right?
The different kinds of capes offer different bonuses. I have tryied different capes according my needs!
