Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into MLB The Show 24 lately, and one thing that always gets me hyped is messing around with the rosters. I wanted to share my little process, it’s nothing too crazy, but maybe it’ll help someone out or give you some ideas.
Getting Started
>

First things first, I fired up the game. You know, the usual loading screens and all that. Once I was in the main menu, I went straight to the roster section. It’s usually pretty easy to find, something like “Roster Control” or “Manage Rosters.”
Making My Moves
Now, this is where the fun begins. I’m a big fan of, you know, shaking things up a bit. I started by looking at my favorite team, checking out their current lineup. I’m no expert, but I like to think I know a thing or two, so I started moving players around. Sometimes I’ll bring up a promising prospect from the minors, or maybe trade away someone who I think is underperforming. It’s all just for fun, really.
I spent a good chunk of time just tweaking things. I’d look at player stats, their potential, all that stuff. I even tried to create a few “dream team” scenarios, you know, just imagining what it would be like if certain players were on the same squad.
Saving and Playing
>
Once I was happy with my changes, I made sure to save everything. It’s usually pretty straightforward, there’s a big “Save Roster” button or something similar. You definitely don’t want to lose all that hard work!
After saving, I jumped into a quick game to see my new roster in action. It’s always cool to see your changes actually playing out on the field. Sometimes it works great, sometimes… not so much. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
Final Thoughts
Look, it is not a big deal to play with the rosters in MLB The Show 24, I just did it for fun. It’s a way to get more out of the game, It made me feel like the real GM.
