Alright, guys, so I’ve been messing around with Rocket League trading lately, and I wanted to get my hands on a Fennec. It’s a pretty popular car body, and I was curious about how much it would cost me on Xbox. Here’s how my little price hunt went down.
Digging Around for Prices
First thing I did was start hitting up some of the usual places. You know, just browsing around to see what people were asking for. Some sites, forums and communities, that kind of thing. It’s always good to get a general feel for the market before you jump in.
I noticed a lot of different numbers being thrown around. Some folks were selling, some were buying, and the prices were all over the place. It was kinda confusing, to be honest. I realized pretty quickly that there isn’t just one fixed price for a Fennec.
Factors Affecting the Price
After poking around some more, I started to see some patterns. Here’s what seemed to be affecting the price:
- Painted vs. Unpainted: A regular, unpainted Fennec is obviously going to be cheaper than one with a fancy paint job. The rarer the paint color, the higher the price seems to go. Titanium White, I’m looking at you!
- Certification: Some Fennecs have certifications, like “Striker” or “Scorer,” that track certain stats. These can also bump up the price, depending on the certification.
- Crate Series: Apparently, the crate the Fennec originally came from can make a difference. I’m not entirely sure why, but some series are more desirable than others.
- Just plain old supply and demand: If lots of people want a Fennec and there aren’t many for sale, the price goes up. Basic economics, right?
My quest of finding price
Based on all of my searching, I found prices all over the place! I decided not to get a painted version, and found one for what I thought was a reasonable deal!
I finally pulled the trigger and got myself a Fennec. And after all of the research, it felt good to make a decision!
