Okay, so I’ve been grinding Valorant lately, and I was super confused about these “Circuit Points.” What are they? How do I get them? How do they even matter? I did some digging and playing, and here’s what I figured out, plain and simple.
First, I noticed these points weren’t the same as the Valorant Points (VP) you buy with real money, or the Radianite Points (RP) you use to upgrade skins. Nope, Circuit Points are totally different. They are linked to the competitive, Premier mode.

My Premier Journey and Understanding Circuit Points
I jumped into Premier, which, you know, is like the serious competitive mode, above just regular ranked play. It is all about the team-play.
- I formed a team with some buddies.
- We enrolled and got placed into a division. The divisions are from Open to Contender.
- Then, we started playing weekly matches. These matches are best-of-one, so every single one feels important.
Here’s the crucial part: We earned Circuit Points by winning these weekly matches. The better we did, the more points we got. And the higher our division, the more points we could earn. I also found out that participation in playoff also brings points.
I learned that these Circuit Points are basically our ticket to the end-of-season playoffs. You need a certain number of them to qualify. It’s like, the more you win, the better your chances of making it to the big tournament at the end of the Premier Stage.
We kept playing, we kept winning (mostly!), and we kept racking up those Circuit Points. It felt good, seeing that number go up, knowing we were getting closer to potentially competing in the playoffs.
So, that’s Circuit Points in a nutshell. They’re your team’s score in Premier, showing how well you’re doing and whether you’re good enough to make it to the playoffs. It’s all about teamwork, winning those weekly matches, and climbing the divisions.
