Alright, so I was on this mission to figure out which shiny version of these grass types I liked better. It’s all about personal preference, you know? I’m talking about Shiny Vileplume and Shiny Bellossom. Both are cool, but which one really pops?
Gotta Catch ‘Em Both (Shinies, That Is!)
First, I needed both shinies. No way around it. I already had a shiny Oddish I caught a while back, so evolving it into a Vileplume was the easy part. I just popped a Leaf Stone on that little guy, and boom – Shiny Vileplume!

Bellossom, on the other hand, required a bit more work. See, I needed to evolve my Oddish into a Gloom, then I needed to obtain one sun stone first. So, I went on a scavenger hunt, using my Pokemon to find the needed item, until I finally found one! After that, my Gloom became a beautiful Bellossom.
The Side-By-Side Showdown
With both shinies obtained, it was time for the real test. I lined them up in my Pokemon boxes, just staring at them. Here’s what I noticed:
- Shiny Vileplume: It goes for this rusty orange flower and a more greenish body. It’s a pretty stark contrast to the regular Vileplume’s blue and red.
- Shiny Bellossom: This one switches to a more purple dress, and the flower on its head turns to a nice green color. It’s a softer change than Vileplume’s, but still really noticeable.
My Verdict
Honestly, after spending way too long looking at these two, I think I prefer Shiny Bellossom. The purple is just so pleasing to my eyes, and the green accents really work. Shiny Vileplume is cool, don’t get me wrong, but that rusty orange isn’t quite my color.
But hey, that’s just me! Maybe you’re all about that orange life. The best part about shinies is that they’re all unique, and it’s all about finding the ones you vibe with. So, get out there and catch ’em all – or at least, the ones you think look the coolest!
