Okay, so I’ve been hooked on Pokemon Go again lately, and I’ve been trying to power up some of my Pokemon for raids and battles. I stumbled upon this little guy, Perrserker, and I was like, “Hmm, what’s the deal with this one?” Turns out, it’s actually pretty decent!
Getting My Hands on a Galarian Meowth
First things first, I needed a Galarian Meowth. See, Perrserker doesn’t evolve from the regular Meowth we all know. It only evolves from the Galarian version, which looks like a tiny, fluffy Viking.

I remembered that they were more common during some past events, I didn’t have to wait long before they started popping up in the wild, thanks to the current event, it’s very easy to find it.
The Evolution Grind
Once I caught a good Galarian Meowth , it was time to evolve it. It takes 50 Meowth candies to evolve into Perrserker, which, compared to some other evolutions, is a piece of cake.
- Catch Galarian Meowths: I focused on just catching every Galarian Meowth I saw, It’s very easy to get them in the wild during this event.
- Use Pinap Berries: When I had them, I used Pinap Berries to double the candy I got from each catch. Every little bit helps!
- Transfer Extras: After I had a few good ones, I transferred the lower-level Galarian Meowths to the Professor for extra candy.
Powering Up My Perrserker
Finally, I had my Perrserker! But, of course, I wanted to make it strong. That meant powering it up with Stardust and more Candy. This part took a bit longer, but since I’d already been collecting Meowth Candy, I was in a good position.
I used the appraisal feature in the game to see the perrserker’s states and check its IVs (Individual Values) to make sure I was investing in a good one. I got lucky and had one with pretty high stats, so I started pumping it up.
My Perrserker in Action!
I’ve been using my powered-up Perrserker in some raids, and it’s been holding its own! It’s surprisingly tough, and its Steel typing gives it some good advantages. I also found that using it with other team is the best way to play it.
So, yeah, that’s my Perrserker journey so far. It’s been a fun little side project in my Pokemon Go adventures. If you’re looking for a different Pokemon to try out, give Perrserker a shot! You might be surprised at how useful it can be.
